Cons (-) Room had peeling wallpaper and mold. No breakfast which was not mentioned before paying....tub and shower old and dirty. Not worth the money at all! Dont be fooled. The "Suite" is not what you expect. The place is run down and for sale. Very disapointed.

Pros (+) Beautiful old building, old world Comfort, great location for downtown Dubuque, quiet

Cons (-) The owner was quirky to the point of being bossy, argued about the air conditioning when I though the room too cold, wrestled my suitcase out of my hand when I wanted to carry it myself twice, was weird at breakfast when guests approached the buffet table before being served with the hot portion of their breakfast, barked "you don't get it" at us, served different hot breakfast portion to differen...
