.We chose this hotel because of its convenient location en route to Austria while travelling by car from England. On arrival, we were given a very friendly and warm welcome by the owner/manager Herr Mayer. After noticing our accents and poor German he spoke with us in fluent English and helped us with our bags to our room.. Everything in this hotel was spotlessly clean. The room was quiet and very comfortable and the shower in the bathroom was comfortably large. After explaining to Herr Mayer that I was a Coeliac and needed gluten free food he advised suitable items on the hotel's menu for dinner, as well as arranging gluten free bread both with dinner and breakfast the following morning. The breakfast dinning room was well laid out and the lady managing it was very helpful in assisting us in finding everything we needed. For us it was an ideal stopover for our journey and would the staff and hotel our best recommendation.
Nothing comes to mind.
Clean and convenient hotel. The bathrooms are being refurbished and we were given rooms with new bathrooms, which were excellent. They are wet rooms with a walk-in power shower. The rooms are a good size, the neighbourhood is quiet. The staff are very friendly and attentive. They serve a continental breakfast, which was good (the only hot food served was scrambled eggs and sausages). The bread and rolls were lovely and fresh.
The carpets in the rooms were clean but could do with replacing/updating.
Really friendly hosts who work tirelessly to meet your needs.
The staff were amazing - incredibly helpful and friendly. I was travelling with a 4 month old puppy which I had picked up that morning and they went out of their way to accommodate us and make our stay easier. Dinner (in the bar) was delicious, and nice to see a lot of locals eating and drinking there. The room was large and well equipped. Breakfast also really nice. It was nice to have lots of off road parking, and some nice walks and parks near by. Thanks for making me feel so welcome, and helping me relax during what was a stressful trip!
Nothing - it was great. There was some road noise (I was right next to the carpark) but it was not too bad and the room was well enough insulated for sound.
Cot bed provided for our baby and comfortable stay over all.
Shower would be better if it was more separate from the toilet!
