The hotel was tired. It needs updating and crack repairs for the walls and the parking ramp and driveway.

Pros:Proximity to canal park and downtown. Our view was good.
Cons:Needs a major facelift and cleaning! Our room smelled of smoke. The restaurant upstairs is really lacking and old. Needs new chef and cocktail selection. Was a let down and overpriced.

Cons:Large pot holes in the parking lot, I fell the 1st day before we got to the room. Really hurt my back so my weekend was limited on activities. There was something on the door handle that stuck to my hand. The floor seems like it wasn’t vacuumed in a long time (I wore shoes around my room because of it). There was also Paton peeling on the floor. Sunday morning we went to have breakfast in the restaurant, but weren’t told we need reservations. The restaurant staff didn’t offer to make us a reservation. The view was the best part. However I wouldn’t stay here again.

Cons:hotel carpeting in good conditiin only was outdated but under the impression that it was all being updated-this is an older hotel with everything for a comfortable stay as it should be wow the most comfortable beds pillows comforters-I called the following week gather the info and purchased the mattress and the bed pillows for my home
