Bernini Palace

The better question would be, what isn't unique about the Bernini Palace? Every room is decorated in opulent splendor, from the highly polished antique furniture to the draperies around the towering windows as well as the bed, to the singular wallpaper, flower arrangements, and art. Every room is different and individual, making you feel more like you are staying in an actual palace than in a hotel. Hallways and public areas are built under sculpted arches and lit by chandeliers and floor-to-ceiling windows. A view out of almost any window will treat you to a glimpse of essentially medieval Florence. Every aspect of this hotel wraps you in decadent luxury.

Bernini Palace has implemented a number of policies and strategies to ensure that their company leaves a smaller carbon footprint. In every area of the hotel, staff separates waste in order to make sure that everything is disposed of efficiently, properly, and ecologically. They have replaced all of their light bulbs with LED bulbs, thus reducing energy consumption by about 80%. They’ve replaced the old boiler and air conditioning units with newer, state-of-the-art equipment designed to drastically reduce energy consumption and environmental impact. Bernini Palace is also careful to partner with vendors who act with as much commitment to the environment as they do.

You might not expect it, but the Bernini Palace welcomes guests with pets of any size, whether dogs or cats. And best of all, pets are allowed at no additional charge. Bernini Palace even arranges a welcome kit for your pet, including food and water bowls along with treats. Guests are kindly requested not to bring their dogs into the breakfast area or the restaurant. Because Bernini Palace has specific rooms designated as pet-friendly, it is imperative that you let the staff know you will be bringing pets at the time you make your reservation to ensure availability.

Most of the opulent event space at Bernini Palace is more suitable for intimate events. For instance, the Sala Corsini can accommodate up to 45 people in this palace room decorated with moldings, art, floor-to-ceiling windows, and more details that let you know you are in some place truly special. But if you desire a vast space for a banquet or gala, the Sala Parlimento a towering space beneath chandeliers and a fresco ceiling. This impressive venue was once the meeting place for Parliament and senators in the Kingdom of Italy, but today you can host your special event there.

In the grand Sala Parlimento every morning, guests can enjoy a continental breakfast buffet featuring delectable high-end pastries and sweet, succulent fruits, along with coffee, tea, and a selection of juices. At the Restaurant La Chiostrina, you can enjoy savory dinner fare seated in the indoor courtyard.
