Pros:I didn't die?
Cons:Gotten a room on the 2nd floor so I didn't feel like the very kind folks in the room next to me, would knock on my door. Or I could hear then screaming at eachother about only drugs know what! Also, someone who works there or lives there kept arguing with a guest telling then they had to leave. This went on from 11pm-2am. Moral of the story, I didn't sleep very well, if much at all.
Pros:I loved how close it was to Old Town Florence, very easy to find, and clean.
Cons:Heater only worked for the first few hours after checking in, then it stopped working. Woke up cold and called the front desk to get a portable heater.
Pros:Central location, nice TV and furniture, clean, nice pillows and enough of them, comfy mattress.
Cons:Bathroom needed work, sheets worn with tears. Had room next to stairs and icemaker, was noisy.

Cons:The motel was undergoing extensive renovations on the existing wing and halfway through building an attached wing. The site was littered with construction matrtials, builders and their equipment and vehicles. It was hazardous to even access our room. We were not informed at Amy stage before arrival about the construction. We are extremely annoyed that the owners consider it acceptable to deceive us into the experience at their hotel when ion our holiday. Also the motel is attached to a trailer park whose clients utilised the drink vending machine outside our unit door. So if you are contemplating booking this motel request assurance that the building work has been completed as a minimum.
Pros:For an older motel, in very good shape, and you can tell they try hard
Cons:This motel is at the intersection of two major highways, which are used by many trucks, which either turn at this intersection, or have to stop for the light. At least for my room, I could hear EVERY truck that came to the intersection. I was able to sleep the night after I put in ear plugs.
Cons:The motel is located at the intersection of two major highways, 101 and 126. This is a great location for a gas station, but a terrible place for a motel. It is very, very noisy. The Villa West is also very old and shabby. It is badly in need of modernizing and refitting. Moreover, the cleaning staff used some kind of cloying, flowery air freshener that took a half day to fade away.

Cons:No A/c & Hwy 101 noise was loud.
