The grounds and location are stunning! Our room was very comfortable and spotlessly clean. The staff was charming and very accommodating. They even arranged a breakfast goodie bag for us since we had to leave early. The breakfast itself was fantastic and their onsite restaurant was our favorite of the entire trip. Don’t leave without trying their chocolate cake and raspberry tart!
Nothing — it is a wonderful facility!
Everything about it is amazing
Nothing not to like.
Unique, historical property. Maintained and very well cared for. True to its original character.
The people were lovely, the cooking class really amazing, the restaurant lovely, perfect stay.
Amazing stay nothing to say.
The location was remote which was perfect. The restaurant was fabulous, the food was amazing and it wasn't too pricey. It was a shame that the bar area was not opened for longer. The garden was beautiful but would have been nice if coffee/ snacks were available to enjoy outside. The breakfast room is also fabulous and the choice was very good however no vegan options at all.
It was disappointing that they offered wine in the room which we need to pay fair considering it is a winery! That left a terrible first impression. No aircon. Bathroom was a little outdated. Also we had to pay for the winery tour (with a discount) which again was disappointing as rooms are pricey. Moreover coffees/soft drinks are only available from a fridge at reception and cost a fortune! Couldn't believe we had to pay for coffee . Also there isn't a bar that you can enjoy in the evening. The place is beautiful so there is so much they could have done to make the place amazing but clearly there is a lack of direction
