Terrible. I reserved a car with them for a noon pickup and arrived early evening of the same day and they said since I was late the car was no longer available and I had to pay $400.00 more dollars for the same car.

Our flight was running late so I tried calling multiple times to let them know but there phone tree would always disconnect me. After 3 hours, they cancel your reservation. Phone system needs updating

horrible I specifically booked a car for the 4th of feb , i am absolutely sure thats what i booked . I recieved a confirmation with wrong date . I called and texted asap to explain . no help whatsoever so i end up in salt lake with no rental car for the week i was there , and am bieng billed for a car for the wrong dates , I am positive I booked the correct date , as i booked on the 4th and needed the car that day ! Why would I book a rental for dates i wont even be there ? This whole situation makes me wonder if using KAYAK. who is also no help is worth it I can easily go to other travel websites and have a better experience .

Everyone was kind and helpful. Pickup and drop off were fast and easy. Airport shuttle was quick, clean, and courteous. They upgraded me for no charge because the car I rented wasn't available when I showed up early. The car was nearly new, but did have some scratches on the bumper. I marked those on the pickup sheet and it was no problem.

Pros:

The car was nice. And complimentary shuttle was great.

Cons:

Customer service could have been better, it did not feel that welcoming. When shuttling having my information to verify we aren’t getting into a strangers car would have felt safer. When going over the pre damages on the car before I leave I felt that it would be more beneficial for them to come out and inspect the car with me rather than me doing it alone. Security deposit amount needs to be listed because that was a surprise. But we enjoyed the car and returning it was easy. I just feel that those other things I mentioned need to be worked on.

Pros:

The rate was great and I like that they had Toyota Sequoias.

Cons:

The pick-up drop off is a little clunky. The exterior signs at the airport do not say Advantage, the driver for another company explained that one shuttle picked up for Advantage and the other. And I know that this is not necessarily Advantage's fault but when you google Advantage Airport another location in SLC shows up.

Pickup is by shuttle that stops at the airport Rental Car office for other brands. Return to that office offsite is navigable by Google mapping.

Cons:

Satisfied with rental. Mid Size SUV reserved was Toyota Rav4 but substituted with Mitsubishi Outlander of equivalent size, also 4WD.

Upon pickup staff was rude and even though I reserved and paid for one thing was told that I could not have that unless I paid more because I wasn’t from out of town. There should be additional questions when booking so that you are aware of the price diu long upon pickup and so you’re not thinking the price you paid at reservation was it when it wasn’t. I will never rent from Advantage again.

The car had mechanical issues upon pick up (I was only renting for a few hours) and it was very difficult to get it resolved. The advantage staff and roadside assistance were little help.

Cons:

The experience at the pickup wasn’t the best, not very professional. The drop off at the park and jet was awful. The attendant was hateful, directions were unclear and as my daughter said the whole set up was sketchy. It turned out ok but won’t be using them again.

Cons:

They charged me 312.00 MORE. Told me it wa a deposit? Told me they didn’t have the car that I wanted but gave me additional. Did NOt tell me I would be charged. Clearly BAIT and SWITCH. I will never do kayak or ez car again

Very smooth. We were able to upgrade to a Yukon for $10 extra per day. It was a very quick and easy process. Shuttle to and from airport was quick.

Pros:

The staff was good. The car was great but I do not think I will use them again.

Cons:

I am not sure why I was charge an extra $35 over the price $75 I prepaid for two days at $25/day. I did not notice it was a "shuttle" service to pick up the car and it took a while to find the pick up spot. No fun since they did not answer phone.

This was my second time renting with NU. The pros: • Excellent value for money. • Fairly new and reliable vehicles. • Easy to find shuttle. The con (and it’s a biggie for me): • Not having my reserved car class available. The first time they coerced me into paying for an upgrade (complicated reasoning), the second time they told me I could wait until my car class (small SUV, I think) came back or take a free “upgrade” to a full-size 4x4. It turned out to be a giant Jeep Rubicon truck with knobby big tires. But by the time I got to the lot and saw the beast, the thought of going back in and waiting in line for the (only) agent to make a change—and likely be given a song and dance or upsell about lack of other car types available—was not appealing (travel days are hard and stressful; travel providers know this, and can take advantage of exhausted customers). There were a bunch of jeeps on the lot, so I knew they were effectively forcing them on customers. So I took the Jeep. It was awful to drive. Got horrible mileage. Was loud on the road and big for parking lots. It is what it is but I hated it. And I had it for a whole week. • Off-airport location means that once you’re there, if something goes wrong (like not wanting the vehicle offered) you can’t just walk to the next company’s counter and try for something different like you could at the airport.

This is now the second time with Nu car that I have had this same/ awful experience. Will not rent with them again. I arrived 2 hours after my rental was supposed to begin. They told me they no longer had my car (even though there were 6 of that same car in the lot) and made me pay an extra $160 for a different car. This is unethical and I will never rent from my car again.

They didn’t have my reservation. Very unfriendly and wouldn’t try to solve what happened. Even though they had a car available said they couldn’t do a direct reservation. Went back to terminal which is about 20 min time and rented with Avis - They were very helpful. My advice. Stick with the main car rental companies at the terminal.

First of all, we flew in later in the evening, the office was closed, which we were not aware of. Then the next day, based on what was advertised on the website, we were expecting to pick up a car in Salt Lake City and return it in Las Vegas. When we got there, we were told that was not possible. We were then offered no help on how to fix a situation. Eventually, we just had to cancel and go with another much more helpful company.

Terrible experience! Would never use them again. Our plane was delayed and so we showed up after 7pm and they said they were closed and they wouldn’t even bring us our car. We had to rent another car from another company. Would not recommend and I’ll never be using them again.

SIXT has a brand new facility at SLC. The pick up information was lacking on where to pick up the car. They have their own shuttle to take you to their offsite location. shuttle. They do not have a phone number for the local office. The only number I could find was their 1-800 that never picked up. The SIXT shuttle location was on the side of the main car rental garage. WALK though the main rental car pick up area and head to the right side of that same level to locate “offsite shuttle”. The shuttle was waiting there for me. It took 5 minutes to get to the offsite facility. If you can’t find it, take an Uber to their offsite office. I saw one customer do this. We were greeted with a warm welcome and great efficiency. Car was clean and easy to drive. I would rent from them again.
