Breakfast was included, altho we arrived late and didn't find too many things. It's not far from the station! We asked if they could store our luggage for half a day and they have been pretty kind!
My husband is 184 cm (not super tall, but definitely not short), and I suppose this number exceeds the Japanese average by much as he couldn't event cross the door to enter in our room without having to bow his head.. It was quite ridiculous actually. Another thing I didn't like is that, prior to our arrival, I asked for an extra pillow for myself due to health problems and they said they couldn't reserve it for me; they have a few pillows in the hall, available for everyone, with the policy 'first come first serves'. I get the policy but I wasn't asking just 'to have an extra one' but due to health problems and explained it to them, but the answer was the same: no exceptions allowed. So when we arrived, of course all the extras were gone already, if it wasn't for my husband who borrowed his pillow to me, I would have had a bad night of sleep. The overall hotel's inside is quite old and is clearly seenable by many things around you. Plus we have found some spider web around the corridors. (I get that it's located very close to mountains and nature but I would expect less spider webs since it's a hotel) The room was cleaner though. Considering all, in my opinion the price is quite too high for what they offer. Also, if you are used to big cities like Tokyo and such, that have konbinis like everywhere, this time nearest konbini is not very close.
Location was great, very close to the train and bus station
We didn't enjoy the tatami room that much perhaps because we normally slept in regular bed but it wasn't too bad!
Good location close to public transport, clean rooms
It was close to the station and easy to find.
It was an old hotel which was fine but it wasn't kept well. The room walls were stained, the shower had mold in it, and some of the lining was held together with tape. We paid 14,000 yen for one night. For that price they should be able to fix it up a bit.
The recepionist were very unfriendly and unpleasant. When I check in the room they talk in japanese each other, thinking that I can't understand them. They were jocking me and they laughed.
