basic room but clean and tidy noisy lots of banging doors very steep stairs-a problem anywhere in holland very informal and friendly staff near to centre in quiet street

got similar accomodation in central amsterdam ensuite at below this room rate a bit expensive for a single room -in other places i was given a double despite travelling alone-question about reviews-i never read them

Absolutely nothing.

Way overpriced for the value of this hotel. It should not have been more than 30 euro per night, if that. Tiny room situated right on the street. Had to open the window with the end of a broom handle about an inch high. Had to keep the drapes closed for any privacy. No convenience like hot water for coffee. Shower ok. Included breakfast was way too early for holiday. Was not notified about free wifi in the dining room. No accommodation for hot weather - we had to go out and buy our own fan. After asking they finally brought one in. This hotel was a dump.

Great location just off canalside. Owners very friendly, advised best place to park car, but didn't 'sell' their bar/restaurant. Room clean & tidy.

Noise from room above - very creaky floorbaords!
