Overview

In the heart of the city, the Le Grand Hotel Grenoble, BW Premier Collection, Grenoble, France, is a four-star set in a historic Haussmann building, with a warm atmosphere, contemporary decor, and comfortable rooms, an ideal base for a trip into the Rhone-Alpes, easily reached on foot or by tram, bus, taxi, or bike. The rooms run from classic to suites, some with a balcony and connecting rooms for families, each with a coffee machine, a minibar, and a television, and a varied buffet breakfast leans on local, seasonal produce, with a range of snacks on hand through the day. Grenoble spreads across a flat valley floor ringed on every side by mountains, the three great massifs of the Vercors, Chartreuse, and Belledonne rising straight from the city, reached by the famous cable-car bubbles up to the Bastille fort, with the ski resorts of the Alps and the legacy of the 1968 Winter Olympics close by. From almost any street the snow peaks fill the end of the view.
