Pros (+) Quiet, cheap, kitchen in the room if you want to cook, and it offers a shuttle to Hakuba 47. If you need a ride to/from the train station it can be arranged via phone during certain dates/times.
Cons (-) The hotel bus is not reliable and a taxi to the station or Happo-one is roughly $20 each way, when this is factored in it is worth spending the extra money to stay on or near Happo-one where there are more restaurants, ski slopes, hotel shuttles and night life. White mountain is adequate but it is too hard to get to and makes daily logistics a pain. The rooms are old and dreary. Good for families ...
