Pension Ringo-no Ki - Hakuba - Bedroom

9.5 Excellent (308 reviews)
C$ 115+
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Yoshi was extremely helpful and friendly. We arrived late at night and he offered to drive us to the nearest restaurant for dinner and made breakfast for us the next morning. Highly recommend!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Yoshi and his wife are the most friendly, welcoming and helpful hosts! Their place is very clean and tidy. If I ever get the chance to go back to hakuba I will definitely be staying with yoshi!
Cons: There was nothing about the property that would put me off
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Yosh and his partner are absoultley lovely. Breakfast is wonderful. Private Onsen for your bath time. It is situated in a great location.
Cons: My only complaint is the beds. They are a bit stiff.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff are very friendly and helpful. Drove me to my next hotel booking. Very polite and warm people
10.0 Excellent
Pros: 1 - Value for $ 2 - Open Onsen and Indoor Onsen by booking (1hr Private session in daytime from 3 -11pm; 30 min session in morning from 6 - 7:30am; cuz there r only 6 rooms, so you can book even one time in morning, one in the afteroon and one at night) it is very refreshing and relaxing for enjoying the outdoor bath (not natural onsen) The bath tub can accomodate a pair/couple and it is on private booking, so it is a different experience from the typical public onsen/bath. 3 - location is strategic. Opposite is the Alpine Chalet stop that have bus going to Goryu, 47 (Free Groyu/47 Bus Route 5) and Happo One (Happo Free Bus HP-4). If you want to go other ski resorts like Iwatake, Tsugaike, Cortina, Norikura, Kashimayri, Sanosaka, Jigatake, etc taking the HV-1,2,3, you can walk to Hakuba Base Camp at around 5 - 10 min. 4 - Yoshi San and his wife are friendly, hard working. Pension is very clean, feeling like a home. 5 - Walking to the main street of Echoland is around 10-15 min, where you can find many good restaurants. Opposite the Pension, there are "Soba/BBQ" restaurant which is value for money; and the opposite "Ricca" Cake shop sells cakes which is very tasty! You can walk around 15 min to a supermarket called Aeon Big Super-Market, selling many food, sushi, sashimi, fruits and other stuff at very good price. Walking to another supermarket called A-Coop and Drug store (next to A-Coop) is around 20 min. Walk to Hakuba JR station is around 20 min. So many things are quite accessible!
Cons: Better to provide a microwave oven for guests self usage!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The owner (Yoshi) and his wife were very welcoming and friendly! They went out of their way to make us comfortable and even offered to drive us to the train station. They were always energetic and so welcoming every time they saw us ! :)
Cons: Lighting in the rooms could be brighter

10.0 Excellent
Pros: I enjoyed my breakfast and I appreciated the owners changing the heater at my request due to allergies.
Cons: There was nothing I didn’t like. I got exactly what I needed for the short stay.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is very pretty and handy location. Nice breakfast and helpful staff.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: All was just perfect. We might have been the only guests. We very much enjoyed our time in Hakuba. Our corner room was on the second floor and was nice comfortable warm and spacious. The modern bathroom had both shower hose and fairly large bath. The quality bathroom products added special touches and were appreciated. There was also a separate area with a dinning table and two chairs in the room. The heaters were working well and kept the room nice and toasty. As we visited between seasons all in Hakuba was closed. But we are sure it's an amazing winter ski resort town. Great pension for a quiet escape and hospitable hosts. Thank you.
Cons: The only issue we had was to actually find the right pension as there is no signage in English anywhere. Maybe a good idea to put one up. One more thing to note is that a staircase is the only way to get up to the rooms.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful home. Warm and very comfortable beds. Bathroom was superb. Loved the jacuzzi bath. Good to have two toilets. Can not recommend location enough. So close to base of Hakuba Goryu you can go home for lunch. 1 min walk! No need to queue for lunch in Escal Plaza. Great breakfast in main Pension too if you want. Definitely have breakfast there once. Hosts are extremely helpful in picking up dropping off at station and even took us to get food.
Cons: Nothing! It was all great.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: This is an exceptional little boutique pension. It's located in Ecoland - the nicest part of Hakuba. The facilities are excellent and there are two onsens on site which are a wonderful way to relax after a big day out. I had an injury on my fist day and needed to stay at the accommodation as couldn't ski. The coziness and comfort of Belnina made this very pleasant as I really felt at home whilst recuperating. Yukata (the owner) is super friendly and so helpful. He and his wife work extremely hard to make this an outstanding experience for guests. The breakfast is excellent and always super fresh.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We stayed at Belnina hotel for 2 nights. It was an amazing experience: amazing service, nice clean rooms, 2 private onsens to relax after a skiing day. Breakfast was yum, fresh and diverse: meat options and pastries changed every morning. We spent nice time in the common living room watching movies (nice selection, free). The place has all necessary facilities and even more. We thank our host Mr. Yutaka for the warm hospitality.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Cosy, homely feel with a wonderful welcome from the owner. Fabulous breakfast with homemade bread and a different dish each day. Fantastic to have access to a private onsen! Good value for money - even though the room felt a bit dated, it was really cosy and the beds were very comfortable. A wonderful lounge to chill out in too - we even made friends with the budgie! We would definitely stay here again.
Cons: A yukata to go to the onsen would be good. And fresh towels without having to ask for them. But generally, a wonderful place to stay.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The host Yutaka, was absolutely amazing! He went above and beyond to make our stay as enjoyable and comfortable as possible. He put a lot of care and love into the daily breakfast and even picked us up and dropped us off at the train station. He was knowledgeable about the area and gave good tips about what there was to do. His hospitality was by far the highlight of our trip!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Yutaka and his team ( friendly Australian men) were so helpful and welcoming. We arrived mid day and got picked up from the station. They sent us down to hire some ski gear only few minutes walk away and then drove us up to the field so we could get a half day of skiing in as the morning shuttles had finished. Breakfast was amazing! So delicious, enough variety that there would be something for everyone. Their are two private onsen that were relaxing first in first served. Some reviews mention the beds are uncomfortable but they were fine and we slept okay. The lodge has wonderful character. Yutaka had good knowledge of what slopes looked good for the day and was always checking in to see that everything was going okay. They provided a ride to the station when we left. Thank you for your wonderful accommodation!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Owner is very chatty and friendly. Offered us a ride from and to the bus terminal. Apartment comes with their own private bath house for 2 pax. Breakfast spread is aplenty and delicious.
Cons: A bit pricey. Breakfast timing is a bit late and we can only take the 0900 hrs bus.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Just the perfect stay. Yutaka and his family are the most amazing hosts. The breakfasts were delicious and they made gluten free rice bread every morning for my husband. Yutaka even took us to the train station when we left. The private Onsens were an excellent feature. I would highly recommend Belnina and hope to stay there again.

7.5 Good
Pros: Close to the Happo Bus Station
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Service was fabulous- staff were very helpful and informative. Location was amazing, close to restaurants and bus stops to the slopes. Great traditional experience with a Japanese Onsen included.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: We had a great time at Hakuba Ski-Kan with the perfect hosts who helped us with little things like finding good and reasonable restaurants even when we did not book any in advance, driving us around (for those who know Hakuba is not exactly a walking village with everything in one spot), assisting us in buying train tickets where language was a barrier, receiving and sending our ski gear in advance and treating us to local delicacies when we come back from a day of skiing.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Amazing/Unbelievable service provided by staff, it felt like they would do anything for you. I was personally driven around town and helped to book transport, then lent money because the Happo1 ATM was out of service. Ski-Kan has a nice Onsen to sooth the muscles after a hard day on the snow, and the rooms neat and tidy. Great memories of the Samurai dress up, very unique and fun. Great location only a few minutes walk to the bus stops for transport to skiing destinations, and only a few hundred metres from Lion cafe and Lawsons for snacks and supplies. Ski/snowboard hire directly across the road if required and got a substantial discount as we were staying at Ski-Kan, shop was very convenient with good selection of equipment. I would love to come back to Hakuba Ski-Kan someday.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything else. Staff amazingly helpful.
Cons: Limited space in toilet cubicles
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic hospitality. Felt very welcome and assisted throughout my stay by the hosts
Cons: Was a quiet venue. Felt like only one staying there
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Words cannot describe the kindness and attentiveness we received from this hotel. The owner and all the staff jumped at literally any opportunity to help and assist us with our stay. Even when we checked out the owner got up at 6am - yes! 6am! To let us out and wish us a safe/pleasant trip along with snacks for our drive. The location was perfect, I would recommend this hotel to anyone. It is worth every penny!

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everyone is super friendly and it’s in a really good location to other services and to the ski fields.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This hostel is amazing. Really confortable, clean and quiet. Toshi and Meg are super kind and knowledgeable about the area. As soon as I arrived they gave me a few maps and explain everything I could do. Both speak fluent english.
Cons: .
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hosts were so lovely and accommodating, even driving me to the supermarket so I could get food to make because I wasn't able to eat any of the food in the area. They were also great to have a chat with
Cons: The only downside was that there wasn't many people around due to my stay being at the very end of snow season, and there were no vegan restaurants around which made eating very difficult. Those were in no way a reflection of the hostel though.
7.5 Good
Pros: Staff are friendly and helpful. Classic hostel where everyone seems to know everyone. Close to some yummy eats. Petty good overall.
Cons: Not the best dry room facilities. Only one heater in the corridor for jackets and pants. Ski equipment room doesn't really dry boots the best. Bit of a hike to Goryu lifts (uphill) with gear on.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: All staff are very friendly and helpful. And Hakuba is very nice small town with friendly people.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Toshi and his family are really nice, kind and helpful. Good advises as well. I really enjoyed this accomodation.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Booked private room with bunked bed. Room was cozy, spacious enough. Shared bathroom is clean & comfortable. Common room is large, you can spend time there having tea/breakfast (which is free) or using kitchen/laundry inside. Staff was very friendly and helpful. They offered us free ride to bus stop when they were not so busy. Location is in beautiful village, 10 minutes walking from Kamishiro station, 15 minutes from Goryu Esca Plaza. There's hardly any convenient stores nearby so be prepared. Last word: great place for the price.
Cons: As for almost all other properties in Japan, be expected that the rooms were not completely soundproof. Sometimes you may hear the heavy foot sounds from upper floors in the quiet evenings.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Toshi and Megumi were really kind, warm and helpful. The place has a good location and it’s comfortable. Great value for your money.

Pros: Loved our stay!!
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful surrounding, great onsen, breakfast, complimentary afternoon snacks and wine after skiing, and night time instant noodle
Cons: Because it was so far from town and ski area, more shuttles, a small convenient store, and hotel bar would be appreciated
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The kind staff, the resort and the ambience is really excellent.
Cons: I joined a level 1 lowest beginner skiing class and end up in hospital with a very bad ankle sprain.. that spoilt my whole holiday. Wifi and phone connection can be improved.. phone and wifi connection, either from hotel wifi or my own data roam connection, is weak.

Pros: A short bus trip to the Hukuba ski field and an absolute haven at the end of the day. Extremely well catered while offering daily shuttle to many restaurants close by.

Pros: I absolute loved my stay at grove inn Skala, it was so well located, grove inn Skala has one of the bus stops for the free shuttles for I think two big ski fields, and the other one is 25m walk away which can take you to a different ski field! The breakfast was amazing!! The different combinations of food was so good! They were really accommodating to allergies as well! The family running the inn were the most amazing and welcoming people! They also accommodated for our late check in at 2am! When stayed in a traditional Japanese style room which was perfect. The walk into town takes around 10 minutes, they also have a drying room downstairs where you can store all your equipment! You are also able to buy lift passes for two of the mountains at the reception, and you get a discount! The lines at the ski fields can sometimes be very long!
Cons: Nothing! It was amazing!

Pros: The hosts were extremely friendly and very helpful. Spacious rooms and very clean facilities. We’re were picked up and dropped off at the train station with no hesitation. Great lounge room with space and massage chair to relax after a day skiing in front of the fire. Central location with a bus stop for the ski resorts right out the front Door.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great family run hotel.Good location for shuttle bus to ski lifts and also an easy walk to Echoland's main street for restaurants and bars.
7.0 Good
Pros: Location is a 10-min walk from Echo Land and there is a shuttle bus stop right outside. Overall service from the hosts were pretty impressive.
Cons: Room was bare compared to other Japanese hotels that I stayed in and there was no heater in Winter. Furniture was a little aged but it wasn't much of a concern. Breakfast was very basic but it filled our stomachs. Waited an hour for pick up from the train station but we understood it was a miscommunication.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Absolutely wonderful service, and cozy winter inn. The family who runs it are charming and most helpful. The food is of a very high standard. The rooms are cozy and beautiful. Lovely setting. Convenient shuttle buses to the ski slopes.
Cons: Bathrooms could be a bit nicer and more modern, but no big problem.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The couple who look after the house are super friendly and helpful. The location for the ski buses was brilliant - less than 50 metre walk Massage chair (for after skiing, need I say more)
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Brilliantly run hotel... great family atmosphere!
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. They picked us up and dropped us off to the bus terminal and when we needed help with directions they were always more than happy to help. Osamu also went out of his way to call numerous restaurants for us to make a reservation with was super helpful. It was also in a great location as the bus for the ski slopes picks you up from the hotel and it was within walking distance to heaps of yummy food in Echoland!

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location was great - close to Echoland, the bus stop, rental shops and lots of bars and restaurants. The owners made the trip for us though - always smiling, accomodating, and absolutely wonderful! The food - both breakfast and we opted for a dinner - was prepared to the highest standard, fresh, and some of the best food we’ve eaten anywhere in Japan. Definitely make sure to book into their restaurant for dinner in advance - it is a highlight. We were a bit dubious about staying in a Japanese style room with a bed on the floor, however it was big, cosy and fun. I slept like a log the entire trip, and didn’t have a single problem - in fact I liked it much more than the western style bed in our Osaka accomodation! Don’t forget about the baths - they were the best way to soak off the bruises racked up from falling down the ski slopes - impeccably clean, well designed, and always easy to get into without a wait. In summary - do yourself a favour and stay here. We will be back for sure!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was good. I liked the soup and the fruit.
Cons: Slight inconvenience for bathrooms to be located outside the rooms.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Nothing was too much trouble for our hosts, that were wonderful. Breakfast was a highlight of our stay. Thanks for the fresh baked bread. Highly recommend location in Echoland.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very helpful host with good English. Best is the onsen outdoor - we enjoy it everyday! Decent location around 5min to Hakuba church bus stop which has free shuttle bus to goryu /47/ Happo one ski resort. Very cosy breakfast served 8-8:30
Cons: The room is a bit small and toilet is not in this room. Free shuttle is not frequent
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This is such a lovely place to stay! Ryoji has been running this hotel since the 1998 Nagano olympics, and he's found a great formula. He's super friendly and is always willing to help guests with travel advice, arranging things (taxis, when shuttles leave, etc). He and his family went to great lengths to make our stay wonderful. The hotel itself is very comfy, and the meals each morning were different and tasty. The onsen on site is such a wonderful thing to come back to after a day skiing, and we took full advantage of them each day! Dinner was a lovely experience and would definitely recommend at least once. A short 3 minute walk to the Hakuba chapel shuttle stop, and then down the main road in Echolands, this is a great place to stay and would highly recommend it!
Cons: Nothing, but just a note: if you are searching for the property on maps, use the name of the hotel as the street address gives a different location (location on booking map is correct).
9.6 Excellent
Pros: It was our second time staying here. We enjoyed the clean and thoughtfully decorated room, as well as the private baths. Great hospitality too! Breakfast was home made and very delicious. Will definitely be back again!
Cons: It was all very good.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: What a wonderful place to stay, in a great location! Our hosts were beautiful, smiling, happy people who went out of their way to help and make us feel welcome. The offer of a minibus ride to the slopes each morning was really appreciated, as was the great onsen each evening. The breakfast every morning were a highlight and a great way to start each day. We even had dinner there one night, which was easily the best meal we had in Hakuba.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Really conveniently located to all ski feilds with a shuttle stop right outside although the Hotel kindly offers a free shuttle to Happo one and back. Close to bars and restaurants and gear rental shop. The family here are so lovley and do anything they can to help you out.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We loved our stay at El Mayo! Rooms were very comfortable and good size for two adults. What we really loved about the hotel was the friendly feeling of the hotel and how amazing the staff were! Nothing was too much of a burden for them - they collected us from Hakuba Station, took us to ski slopes & were more than happy to let us have a late check out on our last day! They did this all with a smile and genuinely made us feel welcome. Would 100% stay here again!
Cons: nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Firstly, I would like to acknowledge the friendly owners of hotel el Mayo. They made my friend and I feel very accommodated for and were very eager to help you if you had any questions. Seeing as I have never been to Hakuba, let alone Japan before I was thoroughly impressed with how close our hotel was to the shuttle bus stops and just around the corner from our favourite bars (Jacks sports bar & The Lab). We stayed in a traditional style Japanese room and although it was a different experience sleeping on the floor we had a beautiful view of Happo and Hakuba47 from our window so I think we got our money’s worth. Pros: Homely feel with a delicious breakfast each morning. Mix of Japanese and western style. Eggs, bacon, toast, rice (owner grows himself and was delicious), fish. I am coeliac and they catered for my gluten free needs. Supplied gluten free soy sauce. Free water and coffee in the lobby. Lovely onsen downstairs which was great after a long day of skiing, coin laundry facilities. Fast free wifi. Owner drove us in a free shuttle wherever we needed to go and assisted with moving luggage and ski equipment. There is a snow equipment drying room. Excellent hospitality and I would highly reccomend this place.
Cons: Older style but lovely clean and comfortable.

Pros: Comfortable,relaxed feel.
Cons: Nothing really
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Read an earlier review about the hotel not having modern appointments but still being a gem because of the service. I completely agree. I doubt if you’ll find better value in Hakuba. The owners were very accommodating from start to finish – making changes to the number of people in the rooms (had 2, 3 and 5), dropping us off at the Happo Bus Terminal twice, dropping us off at the Goryu slopes because Happo’s beginner slopes weren’t open and being able to sign up for breakfast the night before and dinner the day of. The owners were fantastic and the hotel grew on us the longer we stayed. The meals were fabulous and a great value. The breakfast had both western and Japanese touches and the best meal we had in Japan was a dinner of nabemono, soba, sashimi and miso saba. If were ever in Hakuba again we’re staying at the Hotel El Mayo.
Cons: Facility could be updated but the retro feel adds to the charm.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Owners were great and super accommodating. Arranged shuttle from and to the bus station and different snow fields.
Cons: The shower is either too hot or too cold, can’t adjust in between. They also turn the heater/wifi off from 11:30pm (although the owner advised it should be from 1am when we told them).

Pros: Facilities were amazing. We had a room with a private onsen and I didn’t want to leave! The room was very big and the bed was comfortable. Shuttle bus took us to and from the Happo bus terminal.
Cons: Food was quite expensive for what it was, nothing special. Although we arrived quite early, we still had to wait past check in time to actually check in.
7.1 Good
Pros: Free shuttle pickup to and from Hakuba station by reservation.
Cons: The spa opening time is not long enough. Hope that free shuttle bus services to travel hotspots could be more frequent.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Spacious rooms, comfortable beds, very helpful staffs, locations not too far away from restaurants and ski rentals, generally good. Staffs are extremely helpful especially the front desk.
Cons: If breakfast menu can have some changes would be wonderful. Generally same menu but if can have some further varieties would be better for skiers who stay more than 5 days.

They also have a morning shuttle run to ski slopes in the morning.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Staff were very helpful and enthusiastic. We loved the shuttles to the snow and felt like the staff cared. Comfy beds.
Cons: Outdated bathroom. Coffee at breakfast was terrible. But these are minor issues.

Pros: All the staffs are extremely friendly and nice. The bar was fun. The room was spacious and clean. The bathroom was a bit small but we went to an onsen so it wasn't much of a deal. It's located in the center of Echo land is convenient to go to other bars and restaurants.
Cons: We stayed at a suite. The front room smelled like mothball. Breakfast was nice but it took forever till it was served. On the second day we tried to be there first. Actually, we were the second or third. The waiting time was a little shorter than the day before but it was still longer than our usual restaurant experiences.

5.8 Okay
Pros: Location is close to shuttle bus and some restaurants
Cons: Not kids friendly (owner seems not happy with any kids playing inside the property at all) Very limited choice of breakfast. No flexibility to store the luggage / ski equipments before check in. Owner will tell you some local knowledge but service is well below other hotels in Hakuba. In fact, this is probably the worst service hotel I’ve ever experienced in Japan
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Greg and Jane are super lovely. Close to one of the bus stops. Comfy bed. Clean room. We stayed in a bigger room with a private bathroom. It was spacious enough for 2 of us.

Staff were super helpful in regards to giving us info and helping out the guests to get around. Will definitely be coming back!

Pros: Great location within easy walking distance to free bus service to mountains. Hosts extra helpful (English speaking). We had an en-suite bathroom which was good. Nice lounge area downstairs for everyone to relax in after skiing. Walking distance to local Onsen and supermarket. USB charger in room was handy. Greg dropped us back off at the bus station when we were due to depart. Bus to Nagano was the easiest way to go (just over an hour) and catch trains from there.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was great served course by course. The owner and his wife were very friendly and helpful in every aspect to help us get discounted lift tickets (should buy from them instead of the all valley pass if you’re only doing 1-2 ski stations, much cheaper!!) and booking restaurants for dinner. The hotel is 3 min walk from the ski shuttle station, and they gave us a lift to the next hotel nearby at the end of our stay, super nice of them! Location is good with many good restaurants nearby, though reservations are needed for all the good ones. The private onsen (40 min per guest per day) is very nice too, esp after a long ski day!
Cons: Just the price is a bit high but understandable for peak season as it is the new year holidays.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Tucker the owner was extremely helpful and took us everywhere we needed to go even though it wasn’t part of the package. Also the onset was a great way to unwind after a days skiing 5 Star
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Takao was extremely nice, friendly and helpful. Everything we could need, he thought of or was ready to help. Location was great, heart of Echoland. Easy access to shuttles for the slopes. Convenience store right outside at end of the street. Best hotel experience so far.
Cons: Liked everything.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Takao and his wife were wonderful hosts during our stay. They received and stored our ski bag that we had shipped from the airport, and were very friendly to pick us up and drop us off at the local bus station. In addition, both Takao and his wife were very friendly and were willing to help with whatever issues/questions came up. The onsen in the hotel was very relaxing and well maintained. Though we did not avail of the breakfast or dinner at the hotel, it did look quite good! The location of the hotel was also great in the heart of Echoland, within walking distance of the ski shuttle stop (Hakuba Base Camp), multiple restaurants, bars, and the convenience store. I would certainly return here in a heartbeat!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was excellent. The location was great. Walked to the ski hire shop, pick up bus, local superette, pubs and restaurants. We would stay there again. Taka was a generous and gracious host. Plus the spa was so relaxing after a day on the slopes.

Pros: Superb service by Taka sen! We had a great time. Do try their dinner. Perfect!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Soyokaze is more than just a place to stay... it was like visiting family. Takao, greeted us each day with a big smile, personally served us a delicious breakfast each morning, gave us great tips along with discounted lift tickets to two major mountains and went out of his way to make our stay enjoyable, easy and personal. All the wonderful reviews are true. It is the ideal place to stay twin share.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was perfect. From the moment Taka picked us from the bus station to dropping us off at the train station after our stay was amazing. The rooms are large and spacious and super clean. The bed was big and comfortable. Taka and his lovely wife make fresh bread and condiments for breakfast each morning, and the breakfasts are just perfect every day Taka can offer discount lift passes and the Soyokaze is literally 2 mins from four ski shops and the shuttle bus stop. There’s also plenty of choices for dinner and lunch within walking distance. We will be back to Hakuba and will definitely stay at the Soyokaze.
