The size of the room was big
The breakfast was terrible - and the food did not look nice, so we just ate the fruit and left
The size of the room was great I did receive an upgrade which made staying great, location is great as it is a short walk to markets and other attractions.
The breakfast is very ordinary.
Nice big rooms, good WiFi. Close location and nice staff.
Wouldn't give me a 3 hr extension on check out despite the fact that the hotel wasn't busy. Breakfast was average at best and ended too early for my liking.
Good position, near the center, but on a quiet street; nice park view; good and various breakfast and complementary afternoon snacks at the reception
The location, except there is loud live music until midnight every night.
Facilities are dated. Breakfast was really bad especially for Vietnam where you can find excellent food most anywhere. We went down for breakfast around 8.30, so not that late and many things had run out. There was a piece of pate on the plate but no knife to cut it, so I asked the staff to provide a knife and he gave it to me with the explanation that some guest had taken it away - well that is because all the utensils were not there. I asked for a teaspoon and he gave it to me also with the explanation that customers had taken all the spoons - well isn’t it your job to make sure that there is a supply? The food quality was also very bad so we just skipped breakfast the next morning and went for a banh mi around the corner. We were there at the Vietnamese New Year and wanted to buy a sim card. I went down to talk to the concierge and started with a friendly smile and a hello. He didn’t greet me back. I asked where I could buy a simcard and he simply said “there is no way you can find a simcard during Tet” which is not true. He was really rude and unhelpful. As we needed to check out very early in the morning with bags and young kids etc., I asked the front desk to check the minibar so that we could settle the bill the night before. It was fair enough that their policy was to check right before the guests leave to make sure all payments are covered. I suggested that he had the room checked the night before, and we settled the bill. The next morning they could check again but as we didn’t expect to use the minibar we could just leave without having to worry about the payment. He agreed, had the room checked and said there was no charge. Then the next morning they checked and found tons of things we needed to pay for while we didn’t even have time to look at the mini bar that morning. This delayed us by 20 minutes, exactly what we were trying to avoid.
