Central location, cheap.
Facilities are tired. One of the the lights above the second bed didnt work. The sliding panels in the shower were not connected, one came off its retaining rail when being slid open. Whole place could do with a facelift.
Location close to all attractions in Hobart. Fairly good sized room and bathroom. The bed was comfortable. It met my expectations which were not high anyway.
Room was not very clean and the bedspread/comforter was stained. Didn't like that both windows were frosted, so you couldn't look out. The staff wasn't very friendly.
It was quite, beds were comfy but didn't like it against the wall.
Entrance was the same as the Chinese restaurant and the door to the narrow stairs didnt lock behind us. The bathrooms need the caulking replaced as it has yellowed. We were concerned with fire safety with it being over a restaurant and no other way out except the staircase and no windows that could be opened.
The girl at the reception desk was courteous
It was absolutely a #### hole. The worst hotel I've been in. Old ,mattresses had steel springs coming out and it redefined the meaning of small. You could nearly use the toilet and have a shower at the same time.
air conditioning and location
lack of kitchen items (only had a kettle, no microwave or kitchen sink.). no tap water to drink, could use bathroom sink water but made my partner and i sick.
