Overview

Dorsett Kwun Tong is a boutique hotel in Hong Kong’s Kowloon East area. This places a traveler just a short walk from the Kwun Tong MTR Station as well as such popular shopping destinations as the Emax and Telford Plaza. A trendy neighborhood for fans of authentic street food, it is also close to lots of business locations, including Manulife Financial Centre, AIA Kowloon Tower, the Millennium Cities, and more. The airport is only 18 miles from the grounds and some of the best pedestrian experiences are within 500m of the front entrance.

While this appealing location is a good reason to book, there are also many remarkable facilities and services available to guests. These include the modern fitness center open 24 hours a day, the full business center with everything from printing to computer use, a rooftop swimming pool with wonderfully relaxing sun deck, breakfasts served up daily in the onsite restaurant, airport shuttles (for a fee), concierge and tour desk, currency exchange, and much more.

The rooms are a good match for the rest of the premises and include guest rooms and suites. All are large and beautifully designed with Wi-Fi and smartphone services. All are furnished with premium linens, rain showers in the large and private bathrooms, great views, iPod docking, high-end entertainment systems, telephone, signature toiletries, workstations, and minibars.

Whether for business or leisure travels to Hong Kong, the Dorsett Kwun Tong puts a visitor in one of the best shopping and dining areas and a short commute to the most popular landmarks and destinations.

Pros (+) I like how even though the hotel is in a very tiny narrow building, they still managed to make the lobby look modern and classy. The room I stayed in was small but felt spacious and I like how the washroom has a glass window that can be closed off with a curtain operated by a switch inside the washroom for privacy. MOST IMPORTANTLY, the room provided a free phone with unlimited data and internatio...

Debbie, Dec 2016
Pros (+) The room is clean with everything that I need. I found the best price at USD$70 per night for 5 nights and then extended for another 2 nights for $100 each night. I am happy that they give me a room on high level at 25th floor with a little bit of harbor view. The staff is polite and professional. I will stay again if I can get a great deal in room rate
Cons (-) It takes about 8 minutes walk to Subway and all other big shopping area with thousand of people on the road. Once you get over the crowd and get your bearing, you are fine. Not recommend to those first time in Hong Kong as this is a bit of out of place. But for the price I play, it worths every penny. Even better than some AIRBNB.
