Pros (+) The hotel seems like it was very nice a few years ago but doesn't feel like it has been kept up to date and doesn't feel clean at all. Our room smelled so much like mildew! The room came with 1 bottle of complimentary water. Every bottle after that you had to purchase, principally speaking I think this is crazy for a hotel room that costs $200 per night! Overall not impressed by this hotel.

Pros (+) The design of the hotel and the rooms was fabulous. Couldn't have picked a better location. Walking distance to lots of bars and restaurants. We went to the cafe across the street in the morning and everyone was wearing Astros jerseys getting ready to walk to the game.

Pros (+) Johnny at the front desk was spectacular, and was very professional. Gave me recommendations on night life and restaurants. The room was very nice, and the beds were comfortable.
Cons (-) The valet was decent. It's about $34 a night after tax for one car, but it is downtown Houston. They are very quick about getting your car ready for you when you call for it. At night we called valet for a cab and went down 10 minutes later and they said it had not arrived yet. My group waited 10 more minutes inside the garage before the valet guy told us to stand on the street and try to get one....
