The location 150 m from the port, the building itsself (old captain house) , the history of the building and the forthcoming people serving
Loved the location, not right on the busy port, but not too far away from the center of town. Also loved the building, an old Hydriot mansion, and its front garden. Finally, I found the staff extremely helpful, friendly, and good-spirited.
I think that the breakfast served could do with an update, even within a tight budget. Also the cleanliness, could do with a little more attention to detail. But then again, I am a very-detailed oriented person, so I guess I can see a lot of things as a housewife, that other people cannot.
Beautiful old grand residence. Spotless. Competent and efficient front desk. Nice big rooms with very high classic- style ceilings. Right in the centre and 5 minute walk from the ferry terminal and dozens of restaurants.Perfect location
Everything was just fine. The ideal location and facility
There was a nice buffet breakfast that could be eaten in their lovely courtyard.
The hotel has a beautiful courtyard in the front where we had breakfast every morning. The room was standard but clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and the location is unbeatable!
Good situated hotel with charming common areas and beautiful yard. Our room was large and clean, but quite dark and old-fashioned.
The breakfast was quite poor.
Great interior design, central location, always clean room
They should have better breakfast buffet ( it was really poor) and they should consider renovating the bathroom ( roasted tabs and metal parts) as well as buying new towels ( they were clean but extremely hard)
The courtyard was very charming as were the common areas. The staff was very friendly. The view from my room was beautiful and at times lively (but the shutters were effective in blocking the noise when I wanted to sleep).
There was no overhead shower mount -- it's kind of hard to take a shower with only one hand free since you're holding the sprayer.
A nice charming hotel situated in a quite part of the town of Hydra. It is in a 100 metres walking distance from the old port of Hydra. An old mansion renovated with its tranditional style well preserved. Most importantly, to reach there, there are no steps to climb. I strongly recommend this hotel.
Rooms' interior is not as charming as the rest of the common areas of the building. Yet they are quiet and clean.
Beautiful building with a nice courtyard. Great location, quiet, clean and close to the bustling Hydra harbour.
Rather spartan, poor breakfast.
With a stay at Hydroussa Hotel in Hydra, you'll be just steps from Ecclesiastic and Byzantine Museum and Hydra Town Harbour. Featured amenities include luggage storage, a safe deposit box at the front desk, and coffee/tea in a common area.
