The visit started bad: I had gone thru the Kayak listings, looking for hotels with hot-tubs by their pool. I called a couple that had 'indoor pool' - but no spa. This one said they had a hottub - and I called to confirm. But - that was their central switchboard - not this particular hotel. The central spot said 'Yes' - but when I got there, the spa and pool was closed for renovation. It was late in the day, so I had little option but to take the room. On the way to the room - the hall looked ok - but it smelled like the cleaners used for vomit. The room smelled ok, and looked ok, at first glance. - the soft chair was threadbare and had a hole - the outlets had crusty dirt on top - the caulking in the tub was dark in many spots and missing. - the hot water in the sink was just a bare stream - when sitting on the toilet - my bare-feet were apparently warm enough to warm up some coating that was on the floor - they started to slide around. Moving them to a 'still cold' spot was not slippery. Hot breakfast? - not really. Some 'gravy' and biscuits. one could tell from the pan it hadn't been full - just a fair-size dollop. Very little left when I got there, and a taste told me I didn't want to wait for more. - no pastries - just a small muffin - think Sams or Aldis mini muffins. - I grabbed some apples and a glass of OJ, and went to Waffle House.
Pros:Close to highway
Cons:Wasn't the most luxurious place but for the money I guess it wasn't bad
Pros:Lobby was very nice. Room was setup well.
Cons:Patch of wall in 110 had wallpaper stripped off. Bathtub had crack. Dogs in adjacent room barked entire night. No one at front desk upon departure around 930 am.
Pros:The bed was very comfortable, just the right firmness for me. Breakfast the first morning was very tasty.
Cons:I didn't have hot water the first night and the second night when I turned the water on, to see if it would get warm, it was bright rusty red.
Pros:STAYED FOR A WEEKEND GET AWAY FOR THE ROYALS GAME. BREAKFAST WAS GREAT. COULD HAVE USED AN EXTRA WAFFEL MACHINE pillows were a little small
