The staff were super friendly and helpful and the room was excellently furnished. It’s a great hotel that I would highly recommend and would gladly stay there again.
Very friendly and helpful staff, cool historical place near the restaurants in Kumkapi
- very helpful and great staff, when we first came was given information about Turkey and Telling us the best locations to visit. - good location - Room service was always there
The sink was blocked however was told it will get fixed.
Location was great for easy access to most of the tourist sights. Breakfast was good although there was not a lot of choice - if we hadn't liked it it would have been difficult. There were omelettes or crepes every morning and fruit, cheese, bread, cold meat. The owners were very helpful when we had questions, and were always ready to fill up our water bottles.
The only real negative was that it was not quiet at night. Istanbul is very crowded and there was noise from outside on and off throughout the night. This could well be true for most hotels in Istanbul! Also the room was not insulated from sound from the room above and footsteps sounded very loud at night.
A very charming family run hotel, right in the center of the old town. The house is very tastefully decorated and due to a lot of wood and nice antique furniture, it is very inviting and warm. The room was spacious with many windows and a very high ceiling and everything was immaculately clean. The bed was so comfortable and had very nice thick cotton linen. There is air conditioning in the room for those who need it in summer. Everything interesting for tourists is reachable by foot within a few minutes. Very nice and cheap restaurants are close by and also supermarkets. Anytime I would come back to Istanbul I would stay there again. Unfortunately at the end of my Turkey trip there was no room available in this hotel, otherwise I would have stayed there again. I highly recommend this nice hotel to anyone who is looking for a comfortable and at the same time very special place to stay in Istanbul. THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR EVERYTHING. IT WAS A VERY PLEASANT STAY.
Nothing. Everything was exceeding my expectations.
