Very beautiful heritage hotel with big rooms. Mosquito nets in front of the window, so you can sleep with open window. Nice inner courtyard with pool and seating area. You can have breakfast inside or outside in the courtyard. Good breakfast where you can choose from continental and Indian food. We also had lunch and dinner in the hotel restaurant which was also good and tasty. Big roof terrace for sun lovers, maybe too hot in summer, if you prefer shadow the inner courtyard is the right choice. 10 minutes drive with TukTuk to the gate of the old town. We paid always 100 Rupies (we are 4 persons) one way which is ok but anyway a tourist price.
Because of a construction site next to the hotel and ceremony drums early in the morning and evenings it was quite loud when sleeping with open window. Mattresses are a bit hard.
Rooms are super, super clean and have amazing hot showers! Staff are really friendly and helpful! The place felt like a little (safe) home in Jaipur! The location is just perfect, 30 to 40 minutes walk to Hawa Mahal. The restaurant is for Indian standards expensive, BUT I am really allergic for the green chilly, this can be quite a problem traveling in India. Suryaa Villa is one of the few places in India that understood this problem and prepared a safe and delicious meal, for me definitely worth the money! We booked a taxi from Jaipur to Agra, the driver was a really good driver! And reading all the complaints about the breakfast, all we can say; there was sooo much choice, you don’t have to like all but there will be something for you sure! Thank you Suryaa Villa for an amazing stay!
Price in restaurant is little bit high
Very good location, spacious room, nice breakfast.
The electric kettle was dirty (at our request it was replaced with another one)
Location was perfect for everything we needed or wanted to do. Our room had access to a terrace where we could have tea/drinks, meals. Food was good.
Bathroom sink did not have vanity or cabinet to keep your toiletries in/on. Internet service was sometimes disrupted during our 2 week stay.
Featuring traditional rajasthani architecture and décor, pool view courtyards, ideally located in the heart in one of the most central areas of Jaipur, just 5 to 10 minutes tuk -tuk or cab ride to all major tourist attractions, restaurants & shopping districts. Save money since you hardly need to pay anything for transportation when you stay with us. Each room comes with satellite TV, air conditioning units furnished with contemporary décor, and fitted with all modern day facilities offering free high speed Wi-fi.
