My 1st impression of the room was how weird it was having a full size bed next to a twin since I had never seen that before. The bathroom was very small just barely enough room for the shower and toilet. I hated how high I had to step into the show and hit my foot every time. Pros (+) The Driftwood is a routine 3-story motel. It is inexpensive with a good location, within walking distance of the main sights of Juneau. The rooms are adequate, typical of a routine motel. Pros (+) Good price for Juneau. Next to a great breakfast lunch restaurant.
Cons (-) Not that close to the main drag. On the other hand, it was pretty quiet

Pros (+) Good location, pretty basic but nothing was really lacking. Price seemed kinda high but that's more Juneau as a whole vs this one particular location. Shuttle service was a nice bonus. Overall a pretty good place to stay - the smaller suite would be good for a group or family as well.

Pros (+) Nice, clean, no frills and centrally located.
Cons (-) You have to make sure to follow up on all requests. Staff is not really on top of things and they get very easily distracted. Had to remind the front desk five times about a morning shuttle and still didn't get it down.
