Hotel Kaliningrad

The room was really nice. The hotel is situated in the very center of the city with splendid view. Cinema, restaurants and shops are just 2-3 minutes away.

Some problems with electronic keys. No hair-drier in the room. We found 2 needles on the floor.

Great staff, mostly English and German speaking lovely Russian ladies, very good breakfast, great sushi restaurant and coffee bar on site, very central location, walking distance to everything, mall with cinema and grocery store across the street, comfortable beds with nice linen, nice shower with small tub, English and German TV channels, business area with computer/internet, currency exchange with good rates, 24 hour front desk, security in front lobby, felt very safe, I would stay hear again the next time that I visit Kaliningrad

Restaurant open until 2 a.m. could be noisy if your room is above them, but great front desk moved me to higher floor after a few nights of trying to deal with the noise, which was not horrible, but very noticeable at times.

Great location, nice and modern rooms, it has really improved since I last visited 5 years ago, although kept its Sovjet atmosphere.

Some traffic noise as it is located at the main street, but you don`t mind if you do as the Russians: Drink vodka! :-)
