We came in for a Chiefs weekend and some time on the Country Club Plaza. The location is outstanding, the facilities met our expectations, we like nicer places, but they only have an outdoor pool which was closed. There is a nice lounge area just in the entrance with a big fireplace and live music (Saturday night). The rooms are great with a beautiful view of the Plaza, a mini fridge would be a nice addition. Easy parking albeit a bit expensive for valet. Their restaurant is more like a cafe, they could upgrade the tables, menu, etc…. Staff was awesome , very friendly and exceeded all our needs.
The location is fantastic as it is literally across the street from The Plaza, and many rooms have a great view. Seating in the room could be better, as in another chair or small sofa. 65" tv was wonderful and easy to use. I didn't mind parking my car but prefer staff to do so. I do not agree with charging for parking. The breakfast menu was small and prices were high and higher than expected for basic eggs and toast ($16). I enjoyed the comfortable seating area in the lobby and the fireplace. The pool was closed which was not disclosed prior to arrival and very disappointing. The room itself was nice, comfortable bed, other than the tv....very standard.
