6.2 Good
Pros: Pool area and the one staff member there was nice. Oh, and the food was top notch. Aside from that, and the facility, I was not impressed. Mostly just frustrating.
Cons: They told us "no" way too many times for any place in the hospitality industry. To be fair, we're not that needy. They're just a bit too strict for their own good. For one, they refused to give us free wifi access until we had reluctantly signed up to be part of the Hilton rewards club. Also, if you like to enjoy the occasional smoke, this place is similar to a hospital in that you will be told to move elsewhere if you're not in the one place they allow smoking.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautifully designed hotel on Manila Bay. Depending on the room not always the best view but the rooms are comfortable and the staff are great.
Cons: Everything is an additional cost. Even printing out a few sheets of paper.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We're world travelers and I must say Conrad is one of the nicest hotels we stayed at.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything.
Cons: Nothing.
The Henry Hotel Manila - Pasay - Building
8.8 Excellent (1,358 reviews)
C$ 118+
Overview Reviews
With a stay at The Henry Hotel Manila in Pasay (Barangay 76), you'll be a 3-minute drive from SM Mall of Asia and 5 minutes from Rizal Park. Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby, dry cleaning/laundry services, and a 24-hour front desk. A roundtrip airport shuttle is provided for a surcharge (available 24 hours), and free self parking is available onsite.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: From the moment you enter, you are transported to another time. There's an unhurried air around the place. Lovely garden, historic home as the centerpiece. Staff is exceptionally well trained and will do their absolute best to accommodate your request. Popcorn at 9pm to munch while watching a movie? You bet. If you want to get out for shows, shopping or sight seeing, you are very near Mall of Asia and Intramuros. Highly recommended.
Cons: The website is very clear on the square footage of each class of room and because it is a historic home that has been converted, I expected the room to be on the small side. However, when I stay again, I'll ask to have a look at the available rooms before I take my key. My room was quite small and that was fine since I was alone. If I had been with a companion, it would have been too small.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great hotel! Located in a compound so you feel very safe and you don't hear the traffic from the street. Nicely renovated with a modern look. Apparently, this was owned by a wealthy chinese family back in the day and they renovated for hotel use. Very nice architecture. Also very close to Mall of Asia and surrounding casinos and restaurants in the Pasay neighborhood.
Cons: Only one entrance to all the rooms from the main area. 4 houses situated in tandem and our room was located in the 3rd house. Since there was only one entrance, the walk to the main gate of the compound made it twice as far. I only stayed a night, so it wasn't terribly inconvenient, but if I was staying a few days or weeks, it would probably get old quick.
Sofitel Philippine Plaza Manila - Pasay - Building
8.7 Excellent (8,707 reviews)
C$ 205+
Overview Reviews
Sofitel Philippine Plaza Manila is an iconic 5-star luxury resort nestled in an expansive tropical setting close to the largest convention center, theaters, museums, government offices and the Mall of Asia. 5-star accommodation includes 609 rooms and suites with balconies showcasing spectacular views of Manila Bay sunsets. The hotel attracts international and local travelers alike with its signature Filipino brand of hospitality and the French joie de vivre reflected in its service rituals.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Sunset at Manila Bay is awesome, you don't need to get out of the place to experience. Staff very friendly and attentive. Will stay again.
2.0 Mediocre
Pros: Breakfast is always grand in this property
Cons: I was checked in to a room with multiple problems namely: lighting was not working, AC was not working, the bathroom and the room itself have foul stench, carpet was dirty and the balcony has not been swept for a while. I had to call at least 7x to speak with the manager and wait 3 hours to be moved to a new room. When I asked if I was given a deluxe room the response I received was more infuriating, it was a blunt NO. I was given a standard room and my deluxe room was given to someone else. When the manager realized that she could not convince me to stay in a dirty room she finally decided to change my room. I am a frequent stayer since 2013 but due to this unforgettable experience I will not be coming back.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: As an experienced traveller, the minute I stepped foot in Sofitel Plaza hotel, another chapter was added to my worldly experience. The lovely flowers display at the foyer added an elegant touch to the entrance. The spacious and comfortable room has a delightful view and room service was impeccable. The breakfast offered a wide selection of international cuisines which were both tempting and delicious. Last but not least, the comfortable chairs in the garden which pampered the guests to no end. A job well done and I thank you for a most enjoyable stay.
9.7 Excellent
Pros: Foods at le Bar and Spirals Spa package with massage diamond peel pedicure plus hair before a long trip back Will consider hotel for our Ruby Reunion UST college of Nursing Class
Cons: Buffet too much food for me. Carpet smells a little musty. The pillows crumbling. Balcony needs a little cleaning under the wood floor. Air sometimes hard to control.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Its a nice hotel
7.3 Good
Pros: I liked the rooms, restaurants, pool area.
Cons: Service in the pool area, difficulties in payments with foreign credit cards, miss information in front desk, communication between the workers from shift to shift was poor, airplane noise time to time was too loud.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The service was beyond attentive. As an example, we didn't just lie bedside the excellent pool... We were constantly served besides this pool, and often with freebies.
8.2 Excellent
Cons: for some reason, the bathroom shower was not designed to stop the water from spilling out. hard to keep the floor dry.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: classy hotel nice pool beautiful sunsets and view quiet beautiful grounds lots of service people around car service central location pharmacy clinic lots of security 110 and 220v power outlets in room food samples brought to the pool at certain times complimentary bottled water hammocks lounge chairs have cushions
Cons: common space air conditioning is very cold, had to leave the sports bar because it was so cold (wearing jeans and a long sleeve t-shirt) buffet is ridiculously overpriced for the quality $65 USD per person dinner Thursdays sports bar is overpriced $35 USD for 2 hot chocolates, a small crappy pizza, and mozza sticks mozza sticks were not breaded but wrapped in spring roll wrappers and greasy pizza ordered was not good and the order was wrong sports bar took 10 mins to order and 30 mins to make pizza and mozza sticks does not allow outside food to be delivered to the hotel pool is freezing cold water slides were under maintenance reception does not respond to email entirely, whenever I emailed them before arriving they would respond to part of the email but I would have to email again to get a response for the rest cannot control balcony light no chairs on balcony shower cold water would cut out every few minutes so the water was scalding hot flowers on balcony not watered, dying mold in shower grout needs to be scrubbed/bleached bathrooms are too dark, need a lighted mirror
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Overall it’s excellent
9.4 Excellent
Pros: The tennis court, the pool, newer building, everything seemd to work well. Live band at night.
Cons: You cant walk into metro manila like at other hotels, this can be good or bad depending on what you want to do. This is a non factor i think if you were with a family. Hot water took a long time to get hot.
7.4 Good
Pros: The service at the 10th floor.
Cons: They did not keep the standard of the food service the same in their buffet . I would rate them at most a 3.5 Also when I was upgraded my room they told me and gave me a sheet of paper telling me I can stay until 4pm. Next day ,but they reneged and extended my stay until 1 pm.
Belmont Hotel Manila - Pasay - Building
8.5 Excellent (4,992 reviews)
C$ 148+
Overview Reviews
When you stay at Belmont Hotel Manila in Pasay, you'll be near the airport, a 1-minute drive from Resorts World Manila and 7 minutes from Manila Bay. Featured amenities include dry cleaning/laundry services, a 24-hour front desk, and luggage storage. A shuttle from the hotel to the airport is complimentary (available 24 hours).
5.7 Okay
Cons: The staff at the registration desk were not knowledgeable or helpful. They also let the process get out of control with rude Chinese visitors cutting in front of those waiting in line or even at the counter. Even though I had booked on line, the check in was so slow as to be painful. Not sure I would go there again.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: very nice
Cons: na
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff is very courteous and helpful. Very clean rooms and facilities. Comfortable bed. On site restaurant is good. Close to everything - airport (NAIA) and shopping (Mall of Asia).
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was incredible. I booked a day short. After rebooking online they did everything to make stay wonderful. My girlfriend stayed an extra night I was not there but they accommodated her without problems. When I go back I will stay there again
6.0 Good
Pros: Buffet was good
Cons: Small bathroom wine price very expemsive
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We flew with Cebu Pacific from Sydney and walked straight over to the airport via a connecting walkway after collecting our bags. Perfect location.
9.1 Excellent
Pros: It was close to the airport
8.8 Excellent
Pros: If you need to layover a night in Manila, the Belmont is an excellent choice since it is literally across the street (though you can't walk there with your luggage very easily, you will still need a cab). It has room service, a pool, a rooftop bar, all the amenities.
Cons: The rooms are extremely small, and given the general cost of things in Manila, this hotel is quite expensive. The hotel airport shuttle takes 45 minutes (!) to reach the airport because it goes to two other hotels on the way. So you really need to take a cab or a "private car" from the hotel, which is ~700 pesos. ($14).
9.4 Excellent
Pros: The price was clearly the best still with good quality accommodation.
Cons: Not a great restaurant or bar on site. But plenty close by in the neighborhood.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff is so friendly and accommodating. Facility is very clean
Cons: Rooms are bit cramped
4.0 Okay
Pros: Courteous staff
Cons: Need more eating space and better food and bigger rooms for guests with family
8.5 Excellent
Pros: Clean and very friendly.
Cons: Rooms are small. Breakfast not worth the money.

6.2 Good
Pros: The bellhops were very friendly and helpful. The included breakfast buffet was great and they switched it up daily. The rooms were decent sized and had mini fridges.
Cons: The front desk ladies were not very friendly or helpful. The rooms looked nice at first but had a lot of flaws. Our first room had cardboard covering one of the window panels. The second room smelled funny and had a lot of unfinished or broken parts.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: location, size of room, quality of room breakfast included
Cons: the carpets in the hallways need to be replaced immediately. it is a shame because the rest of the hotel is terrific.
7.1 Good
Pros: Location . Close to airport and walking distance to mall of Asia. The rooms were nice and the staff is friendly and helpful.
Cons: The hallway carpets are dirty and smelly. While the breakfast is free and there are is a lot of variety , it's not good quality. The dinner is overpriced and the food isn't good. Also we got a room with a king size bed and the bed was a double size.
9.4 Excellent
Pros: I was in constant contact with the staff regarding check-in time and various inquiries to which I received a prompt and courteous answer each time. It was so lovely and exactly as I had seen in the picture. Because we arrived so late at night, it meant the world to us that we were met with such great service and had access to 24 hour room service.
Cons: Our room had a foreign smell when we first walked in but once we turned on the air con it got better. We also did not get to eat breakfast because I didn't realize that our room did not come with a breakfast coupon. However, neither of these issues was enough to take away from the overall excellence of our experience
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Spacious unit
7.4 Good
Pros: Location
Cons: Wifi kept cutting out. Phone for staff was always busy so you have to go all the way down to get help with the wifi, and after a few minutes it would start cutting out again. Also if the weather is bad, the hotel does nothing to discourage Taxis from price gouging. It should be 46-52 pesos to MOA, but you'll be charged 100+ because the hotel does nothing. H2O won't allow Taxis on their property if they overcharge the guests, and these guys could learn from their example.

Cons: Everything is great. There was just a weird smell emanating from either the lobby or dining area. Other than that, everything was perfect. Value for money!
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Customer service: staff were ver helpful, courteous. We were given a choice of room, which was really nice Shuttle service: from airport, made it easy to go from and to airport from hotel Location: very close to airport, with caisno near walking distance
Cons: Door not tight: lower part with space from fllow; easy to hear noise of people talikg from hallway
2.0 Mediocre
Cons: I booked a premier room and when I got to the hotel they downgraded my room but still charged me for a premier room. I was on a time crunch so I just booked. When I got to the room, it felt very humid which made the bed sheets and my clothes feel extremely damp. The room and bathroom were tiny and was poorly lit. Place could be much cleaner. I tried asking for another room, but they said they couldn't. They didn't even try accommodating an unsatisfied customer. Just gave me a refund and had me leave. The manager didn't even have the nerves to speak to me or apologize for the inconvenience. I will never recommend this place to anyone. DO NOT STAY HERE.
4.0 Okay
Pros: It is only good for night life, adult guests. It was clean and staffs are friendly. Location wise is great for travelling via air. It was close to the airport and they have a shuttle free of charge.
Cons: I wasn't happy with their centralized A/C. It was so cold and it was hard for my young kids. Their room phone is useless, no one answers from the front desk. There was really nothing for the kids to do in there. Price is expensive. the Rbar breakfast don't have much to offer.
