Staff, easy access to Dive facilities, ambience of facility, grounds.
Billing....clarity of charges...between hotel charges and dive charges. Not transparent.
A True Key Largo Experience
Each room has its unique Key Largo charm with waterfront rooms available. I highly recommend staying in one of the waterfront rooms, complete with your own hammock. The staff is warm, friendly, and inviting. Just a short walk from Jimmy Johnson’s Big Chill Restaurant and Carribean Club Bar & live music venue. Dive/Fishing/excursion boats go out daily and close proximity to John Pennekamp Park. If you’re looking for a true island feel and trying to avoid corporate places, than this is the place for you.
Nice place on the bay
Rooms are large. Beds are comfortable. Grounds are simple but pleasant. Beach area is small but very nice for sunsets. Dive operations are convenient for guests in the resort. Decent fridge, coffee maker and toaster in room. Good Wi-Fi.
Parking is a little tight when heavily booked. Not 100% easy to find the first time.
Door knob and lock difficult to work. Very little area to walk on beach
Those who are looking for a scuba diving destination property in the Florida Keys will want to consider Amy Slate’s Amoray Dive Resort. The hotel has 31 rooms, and it is located right on the water, making it a good solution for many who want a beach vacation. It is close to a number of popular locations to visit, as well.
All of the rooms at the resort are individually decorated, and they have some many of the most popular amenities that travelers today expect. The rooms have free wireless Internet and sofa beds, along with microwaves and refrigerators. They have LED TVs, coffeemakers, air conditioning, a hairdryer, and an iron and ironing board. Amy Slate’s Amoray Dive Resort has plenty of other amenities to enjoy, as well. The hotel has snorkel gear that is available free for the use of the resort guests. There is also an area to rinse off and lock up your dive equipment. Daily snorkel and scuba trips depart throughout the week.
Naturally, those who stay at the resort are likely to want to spend time out on and under the water. However, the location of the property makes it possible to enjoy everything that the area has to offer. They can simply spend some time on nearby beaches, they can go fishing, and more. Guests will also find some excellent places to grab a bite to eat. Consider the Big Chill Restaurant, Senor Frijoles, Sundowners, Gus’ Grille, and Breezer’s Tiki Bar.
