The room was very nice and seemed to have extra soundproofing as we heard no noises from outside the room. That was a good thing because, even though we had sand, a hammock, and palm trees off our back porch, the sound from the highway and from the music playing at the jet ski shop next door took away from some of the ambiance. Pros (+) Nice resort with beautiful grounds. Rooms are comfortable and nicely decorated. We stayed in an "ocean view" room which had a very nice "beach area outside of our back door and veranda.

Cons (-) Parking is limited and constrained. The shuttle service to Old Town is inconvenient (2 hour intervals); but free. There are very few local (within walking distance) restaurants. The best, a Fridays, has closed.
