Pros (+) Wifi not in rooms. Continental breakfast is wonderful. It was nice to be away for the busy part of Key West but yet close so not a lot of driving. Front desk staff polite and pleasant rest is hit and miss. Rooms clean.

Those headed for the beaches of Key West in Florida can stay at the Banana Bay Resort to be close to all the city has to offer, as well as have a home base for the night that is relaxing and has modern amenities.
The rooms at the resort are split between two floors. They are suites that include kitchenettes so guests an make some food in the room. Guests will have air conditioning, access to a private beach, microwaves, and private balconies. There are views of the Gulf of Mexico from the balconies for guests to gaze out at on their trips. Rooms have lots of space for guests to move about in and many of the modern amenities travelers are accustomed to.
There is a free breakfast served for guests of the Banana Bay Resort every morning. There are also vending machines on-site for snacks. The property is close to a ton of other dining options. Kim’s Kuban is a quick walk away. Key Plaza Creperie can be walked to as well. There are also Goldman’s Bagel Deli and Five Guys in under 10 minutes from the resort.
Banana Bay Resort has a pool for guests to enjoy. There is a private beach to lay out on and many Adirondack beach chairs to lounge in and take in the stunning views. Guests can enjoy time in the on-site hot tub, or rent bicycles for exploring Key West on two wheels. Note that this property is for adults only so book accordingly.

Pros (+) If the owners would spent a little money to modernize the rooms, this would be the place to stay in Key West. It's secluded, on the water and very reasonable. I will stay there again.
Cons (-) The carpet, a/c, tv's paint need upgraded. The tiki bar would be a great party spot.
Pros (+) The resort was not hard to find. It's location is right off the main strip. But when entered the parking lot was surprised by the unkept building. The staff was prompt and courteous. Overall the room was cleaned but paint was peeling off the walls, the toilet leaked, the bed was uncomfortable and squeaky, and everything that seemed worned down and old.
Cons (-) I didn't think the price was right for the stay and worth the price of the room.
Pros (+) Location and waterfront view... iguana and other wildlife were around the area so that was nice.

Pros (+) I liked the breakfast and the rooms were nice and comfortable. The hotel was 5 minutes away from everything. The room does not need to be upgraded. Seriously it's a room with beds, bathroom, and tv. Our tv was not a flat screen but so what... I thought for the price, this was great.
Cons (-) The staff seemed a little disoriented towards hotel policies. There was a lack of communication between managers and staff.
