It was clean. Breakfast was good. The staffs were very kind. And the location was the best. It's hard to find a bad point.
Unfortunately, someone of the staff had a mistake on my reservation. So I had to change the type of the room for more expensive one. It would be better if she didn't demand extra cost over it because I couldn't avoid it on my own.
About 150m outside of railway station — excellent if Khabarovsk is a railway stop. Rooms are clean and partitioned in Second World style (there is an extra door between the bedroom itself and the room door & bathroom, like many places in Eastern Europe and the CIS). Staff helpful with requests, even if your Russian language skills are horrible and need to resort to Google Translate.
Refrigerator may need more refrigerant. (Motor inside refrigerator hums along like normal. Still not cold.)
There is no hair dryer in the room. You need to borrow it at the reception.
Breakfast could be better.
A welcome break from hostel life. Was a bit more pricey but veryclose to the station, and plenty of space for one person in the smallest room. I had a bed with bedside table, a desk, minifridge, tv, another low coffee table, and a closet. En suite bathroom with shower, toilet and washstand. Portable heating unit. I tried the sauna facilities, rented by the hour at best to use for 6-8 people. There is a shower area, a lounge with massage chair, tv and drinks lounge (supply your own alcohol), a lukewarm large bath (enough space for all 8 at once) and your own sauna - gets warmer when you splash water. This would be a great place to try out a russian sauna privately just with your group, and was my first try at one.
The breakfast was a buffet, not much in terms of selection, taste was reasonable and filled you up in the morning. The price was higher, makes sense for the business hotel type of acocmodation, the building and facilities are clean but aged (make sense for a higher grade hotel from bygone days).
