In the high desert of northwestern Arizona, the Best Western Plus A Wayfarer's Inn and Suites makes a comfortable base in Kingman, Arizona, a railroad and Route 66 town beneath the Hualapai Mountains. Kingman calls itself the heart of historic Route 66, and the Arizona Route 66 Museum and the Mohave Museum of History and Arts tell that road-and-rail story downtown. The pine-topped Hualapai Mountains rise just south for cooler hiking, and the town makes a handy launch for day trips to the Hoover Dam, the Colorado River at Laughlin, and the West Rim of the Grand Canyon. The Route 66 Fun Run draws classic cars each spring. A complimentary full hot breakfast opens the day, an outdoor pool and a hot tub cool the afternoon, and free high-speed Wi-Fi and a fitness center round out the stay. Spacious rooms and suites add plush bedding and flat-screen televisions. Mother Road on one side and mountains on the other, Kingman makes an easy high-desert base.

Pros (+) The ladies at the front desk where so kind and extra helpful. It was a long day of driving and activities and they were delightful upon arriving so late. And the morning staff were just as lively and kindhearted. Breakfast was good, nice size clean room & bath. Good quality for the amount of money. Nice Job.
