Pros: From the moment we got there we were greeted by the most lovely lady who was just so accommodating. We felt at home as soon as we met her and she explained everything to us.
Cons: Everything, such a great place
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I dealt with Michelle at check-in, and she is a wonderful asset to your team. Very positive, and made every aspect of check-in painless. In my opinion, she went above and beyond to assist. I spoke with Michelle a week earlier to request an early check-in, and upon arrival, all was ready as promised. Not just Michelle, though, but every employee I came in contact with was very pleasant and helpful. I would highly recommend the Springhill Suites - Marriott - Kingman to any and all who enjoy class, comfort, and quality every step of the way. Breakfast was excellent! From the breakfast staff who constantly checked that all was adequately stocked, to the cooks who made it well worth the stocking. 10 out of 10
Cons: There was nothing to not like. If you're forcing me to tell you something I didn't like, it was that I only booked one night. Next time, two nights. Again, 10 out of 10
7.1 Good
Pros: The employee that greeted us when we first arrived seem upset that we interrupted his tv time. We had to wait for him ...which was when a commercial came on. He was a grumpy old man.

Cons: I honestly can’t complain about anything. Probably the first time too, lol.
7.1 Good
Pros: location
Cons: When I went to your website and entered my password and chose this property a regular room discount at $115 was shown.....however, went I attempted to reserve the room I was told my credit card could not be processed...….so, I tried a higher rated room and the booking was completed without a hitch...…..bait and switch?? Pros: Beautiful rooms and fantastic breakfast
Cons: I never could get my wi-fi to work. They tried to help me but never could
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The best complimentary breakfast have had at a hotel/motel. Large room, spotless, lovely toiletries. Pet friendly--designated little grass/tree area for pets. Friendly, competent staff. Sometimes places that allow pets will have strong chemical smells in the pet-allowed-rooms from cleaning after guests leave, but this didn't--it was just clean. It's right on Route 66, which was kind of fun. Lots of restaurants around.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: EXCEPTIONALLY friendly and helpful staff.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: It was quite quiet in spite of the huge window by the corridor. Had a good night’s sleep! The front desk managers were very helpful and nice, a plus for tired travelers. And a Mexican place just across the road was good too.
Cons: Wish the window wall was actually a wall.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was super friendly. The bed was great, the air-con worked perfectly and all the amenities were provided. Breakfast was great too!
Cons: Actually, there wasn't a lot not to like. All very clean, big rooms and that "hotel nearby the road" feeling. I would go back without hesitation.

Cons: N/A
10.0 Excellent

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location off old Rte 66. The room was a great size; with a small fridge/freezer and microwave. The bed and pillows were the most comfortable I’ve ever slept on while traveling anywhere in the world. Super quiet rooms with window darkening shades just in case you want to sleep beyond sunrise.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Nice big room, comfortable bed and pillows. Nice breakfast.
Cons: Deep cleaning needed on walls and doors. We were woken up twice in the night due a domestic violent situation happening next door to us-screaming and visit from law enforcement. Not the hotels fault. The price was high for a 2.5 hotel.

Pros: I was glad they had fresh fruit available so grabbed an apple and that was it.
Cons: I was disappointed with the breakfast. I had been looking forward to it because I was traveling the next morning and did not want to have to make a separate stop for breakfast before getting on my way. 9.6 Excellent
Pros: BREAKFAST was good, staff friendly, nice area to sit outside and visit with family.
Cons: We were given rooms on second floor, and had asked for first floor. We ranged in ages of 68,72,78, and 87.
3.8 Mediocre
Pros: The clerk was very sweet. She came to our room several times to help us.
Cons: The room I reserved was supposed to be handicap accesible and it WAS NOT. I couldn't move around in my wheelchair. I couldn't even get in the restroom in my wheelchair. They told me the only reason they classified it as wheelchair accesible is because it had a walk in shower which I couldn't use because the shower chair wouldn't fit. So it was not a wheelchair accesible at all. They did give me a discount but still should have accurate pictures.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Bed comfortable and room well kept
Cons: Hot breakfast was mediocre
9.6 Excellent
Cons: It was exactly what I needed
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Location - Many places around, close to Grand Canyon Breakfast is nice

8.3 Excellent
Pros: Spacious and clean room
Cons: Louder AC, pool was closed (it was not announced on websites)
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beds. We’re super comfortable. Had a great night sleeping
Cons: Liked it all
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Location was great and room was clean! Loved the wood/vinyl floor instead of carpet! Air worked great but was noisy. Front desk guy upon check-in was super nice and very helpful with our early check-in and local restaurant map. Although a huge disappointment with pool being closed, (and seemed surprised we were so Upset about it) he offered us and alternative that we could use a local pool a few miles away for free, but that was inconvenient. We appreciated his helpfulness.
Cons: Very disappointed Pool was closed due to maintenance issues and should be disclosed on site. We got in early and wanted to enjoy it and beat the heat. The room if you can believe it, didn’t have cold water so even a cold shower was out of the question! Towels were small and rough. Air conditioner unit cranked air, but really noisy. Breakfast had great options, but everything tasted bland and not very hot even getting there right at 6am.
4.0 Okay
Pros: Clean
Cons: Very disappointed about the pool! Swimming was really anticipated, pool closed, this information SHOULD HAVE BEEN POSTED ON THE WEB SITE!!!!

Overview Reviews
With a stay at El Trovatore Motel in Kingman, you'll be within a 5-minute drive of Locomotive Park and Mohave Museum of History and Arts. Free self parking is available onsite.
7.0 Good
Pros: Rooms are very rustic and fit well with the route 66 theme. The owner was very knowledgeable about the history of the hotel and surrounding area and let us check in early so that we could get to an event.
Cons: Room was great but plumbing needs some work. Toilet had a hard time flushing and it was hard to get the hot water set when taking a shower.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Quirky and full of history. The owner is totally dedicated to preserving a part of the past. It was fun and funky and safe. Some might find it a little "unpolished", but it was clean and so unlike "every other hotel chain".
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The room was nicely air-conditioned and the linens were clean. The room was very clean and attractive. I stayed in the Marilyn Monroe suite, Room 109. I liked the atmosphere of the hotel. The owners were very welcoming and they were clearly in love with that era. The hotel was originally built in the 1930's and they had remodeled.
Cons: If you don't like staying in an old hotel with "atmosphere", this is not the right place for you. There are very few electrical outlets. For example, the shower was slow and sparse with water. I also could not find an outlet for my hairdryer, other than the one next to the bed. That meant that I had to dry my hair without a mirror. Since it is so old, all of the fixtures are very low (toilet, sink, etc.)
7.5 Good
Pros: The best checkin with great information
9.6 Excellent
Pros: This is a very cute route 66 hotel. The room was very clean and the aircon worked. The owner told us all about the town and route 66, very informative. Very close to Beale Street and eateries
Cons: The shower head was blocked, but luckily hubby is very handy
10.0 Excellent
Pros: nostalgia. stayed in james dean room.
Cons: nothing
6.3 Good
Pros: Cute theme rooms
Cons: Needs a complete remodel except for the painting on the outside wall Air conditioners do not work that great in all the rooms. Some work! Parking lot should be redone.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The owners of the El Trovatore are wonderful people. At check-in, we talked for over half-an-hour about Route 66 and Kingman, and could have talked much longer. There are still upgrades being made to the motel, but the owners are constantly working to make improvements.
Cons: Some people may not like the older aspects of the rooms such as outdated bathrooms, but others who are looking for the true Route 66-type travel experience will probably enjoy the vibe of the room and motel.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Thank you to our wonderful hosts! Generous, interesting and lovely. What an awesome motel you have.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: My husband and I are traveling Route 66, and this was a perfect stop for us! We were given lots of helpful and fun information when we checked in, and we slept wonderfully in a very comfortable bed. The themed rooms are so fun, and we spent some time wandering around taking photos before we left in the morning. Great stay!
7.5 Good
Pros: It is such an experience, definitely not a mainstream hotel! The owner was super kind and funny.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: It’s quirky, fun, and a totally different experience
Cons: The only complaint was the usual WIFI connection

9.6 Excellent
Pros: Everything was extremely clean and the breakfast was wonderful. After a long day of driving the check in process was easy and quick and we were able to fall asleep as soon as our heads hit the pillows.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was very friendly and professional. I felt safe and our room was clean and orderly and I was very appreciative of breakfast. Thank you so much.
7.5 Good
Pros: Typical Holiday inn Express.. late check-in ...the man at check in went out of his way to help us ! modern nice property as usual for Holiday inn Express ...not sure about the age of the property but I don't think it's very old... We're seldom disappointed with Holiday inn Express., Only one time in downtown Memphis when the right was over $200 for one night.
Cons: nothing really... if you have stayed at a Holiday inn Express you know how they are ...maybe a little better isolation between rooms for noise.

Pros: Extremely good value per money. Very clean. Breakfast was good as well.
2.0 Mediocre
Cons: They charged me for more than two people in the room. It wasn't a good deal for the money. I wish I had stayed elsewhere.
8.2 Excellent
Pros: Great value for money, good location, rooms basic but clean
Cons: No ketle in a room; they gave us a glass and offered to boil water in a microwave
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great place to stay! There's everything what one would need in hotel. A lot of parking spots, big and comfy beds, TV, fridge, microwave, WiFi. Bathroom holds all amenities you could need. BTW. when staying in Kingman, don't forget to drive through Oatman - the route between Kingman and Oatman is breathtaking (Oatman city as well is one in a kind).
9.6 Excellent
Pros: very good value for money, near to highway
Cons: Just a little bit louder air condition, but this is mainly our problem, because we do not have (need) it at home :-)
7.0 Good
Pros: Nice quiet location
Cons: Breakfast area far to small, only wanted tea but no room to drink without standing up so left it.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent value for money. Great sized room, comfortable beds, clean & plenty of fresh clean towels. Great breakfast - fresh fruit, muffins, porridge. Orange & Apple juice, coffee tea.
Cons: Nothing
6.7 Good
Pros: Checked in late since trip was delayed... motel was easily located, no wait to check in due to lateness of hour, parking directly in front of our rooms. Queen beds were comfortable Rooms were tidy as the bathrooms. Toiletries were sufficient Value for our overnight stay was great. Each room had a fridge & microwave which were wonderful add ons. Overall, room was clean & comfortable.
Cons: Just wished each bed came with 4 pillows instead of 2 smaller than average pillows.... Rooms had a distinct odor to the room — Volunteered in a few hospitals & nursing homes and the rooms smelled like “the clean smell of a nursing home”. Each room provided only (2) towels instead of the usual (4) The bathroom tiles needed grout update Noise level was moderate. This was more applicable to the morning after as inconsiderate people with no thoughts for those guests still sleeping who were bent on leaving — whether, outside of the rooms, speaking/yelling loudly, gunning their loud engines, or, on the second floor still in their rooms, treading heavily like “a herd of elephant heavy” foot steps....
8.8 Excellent

Cons: The breakfast was not as good as others that we have had in like motels

5.0 Okay
Pros: Next to a good restaurant.
Cons: There was a young man staying in room 100 that cars was in and out and he was running back and forth to them. This happened at least 4 times in the first hour . Made me think about drug activity, room 100 is right behind the office which made me think employees were turning a blind eye too it.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Every thing
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The price and the room in the handicapped room we had.

9.2 Excellent
Pros: Good location for us staying during our travels. The motel were very accommodating and friendly. The room was comfortable, spacious and very clean!
5.7 Okay
Pros: The value - we received a refund.
Cons: Mold in the bathtub, extremely dirty carpet, no toilet paper, toilet that ran all night, neighbours that did too...
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We arrived 1.5 hours early, before our designated check in time. Staff recommended local dininng sites to go visit (Rickey Cricket Brewing Tap Room & Cafe and Floyd & Co. wood grill Barbecue & Pizza), while we waited for our room. Located in the downtown and historic area of Route 66. Lots of local places to dine, tour and go sightseeing.
Cons: Main light switch by entryway door has a short constantly flickered on an off. Didn't come automatically furnished with a microwave or mini fridge, disappointed in requiring an upgrade + extra fee charge. Apparently desktop currently used for nightstand between two queen beds not an ideal location. Didnt have a small dining table with chairs. Sink in bathroom not handicap compliance. Shower curtain needs a plastic liner keep over spray from shower off floor area (prevent falls when stepping out of shower/Tub). Issues with adjacent parking lot shared with truckers, accumulation of trash cluttered around shrubs and trees (attracts rodents, scorpions, snakes and spiders)! Recommend asking local County officials to assist with cleaning up around motel parking lot. Keep surrounding area clean and free of clutter.
7.9 Good
Pros: Nice size room, bed was comfy, AC unit was quiet
Cons: Floor was dirty and there was a plastic cup with wine in it next to the bed so I'm not sure if the room was actually cleaned since the last people were there

Pros: My husband and I were totally impressed with Jesse and his working family. The breakfast was awesome. We even enjoyed swimming in the pool. I would highly stay again and recommend to others.
Cons: I would not change a thing.
7.0 Good
Pros: Staff was friendly . Hotel is on Historic route 66! Room was not that good. But ok for a night's stay!
7.1 Good
Pros: The first room I was given had a double door to the adjoining room that did not lock. I asked to be moved, and the clerk responded quickly. The second room was suitable without incident. The breakfast had the usual fare, which is adequate for most dietary needs, and the food was hot.
Cons: An adjoining door that doesn't lock is disconcerting to say the least. Who is maintaining the facility? Also, don't try to take your breakfast back to your room. The management prohibits it, which makes no sense. If you are allowed to make coffee and eat in your room, then what is the problem with eating the breakfast in the room? The property is older, and it shows; however, the rooms are clean.
7.1 Good
Pros: Friendly reception staff good location for Route 66
Cons: Bit dated decor the white towels were grey and stained and so thin and hard the lady providing breakfast in the morning was so grumpy and her apron was as grey as the towels

Cons: All was good
7.5 Good
Pros: Comfy and clean.
5.4 Okay
Cons: My crew and i have been working construction in the Kingman areas periodically for 20 years and most of that time is night work till early a.m hours. Most of the hotels would accommodate the working schedules. But now in order to stay until 8pm we have to pay for an additional night. So my 3 night stay technically turns into a paid 4 day stay. If i had known in advance instead of at 4am i would have went to the Ramada or Marriott that would have accommodated the stay. But over all i did like Ben who was the front desk clerk who really tried to make things work but was unsuccessful.
6.3 Good
Pros: The room was ok and beds where nice, pool was great and kept clean.
Cons: Breakfast was not very good. The options where very limited.

Pros: The room was large and the beds we're comfortable. Despite being close to the road and trains you could barely hear them unless the train used its horn. Checking in and out was easy and staff were pleasant
Cons: The washer and dryer had signs to say they were out of order so we couldn't get our clothes washed. Breakfast was extremely disappointing. There was lots of disposable plastic and very little choice. Big hugs of juice would be preferred over small plastic cartons.

Pros: Location was not near the railroad tracks.
Cons: Room reservation for 2 people. Only one towel and washcloth in the room. No soad or shampoo. Only one coffee packets. Very outdated.
3.8 Mediocre
Pros: The frig worked.
Cons: The only bath towel I was given could be rated about 220 grit on the sandpaper scale. I could not compare other towels since there was no linen service or any room cleanup during my 3 day, 2 night stay. The hot and cold water valves in the tub were reversed, but I found that out quickly since the hot/cold had to be constantly adjusted due to the fluctuating hot water temperature. The shower spray head sprayed wildly about the area due to it being plugged up with debris. The only single cup coffee packet provided brewed close to weak tea strength. The TV remote was operative only within about 5 feet of the TV.

I'm in Laughlin, but plan on staying at the Economy Inn on my way back.
Cons: Some traffic noise during certain times of the day. It actually snowed, what people were saying, the worst snow storm in quite a while. Parking lot abuts Beale Street so you have to caution leaving.
