The hotel was nice but the bathroom wasn't very clean, we did mention this but not alot was done about this.

The staff was very helpful and friendly at all times. Food was great and excellent value for the money.

There should be heating controls in the rooms, not at the reception desk.

We had stayed there before, and on our way to catch the ferry to Arran Island, it was a good overnight break location, We tried to book it earlier in the summer but it was full.

On the Friday night, after midnight (1am onwards), we were disturbed by loud talking and doors banging right under our bedroom window a number of times.

The cosiness and convenience of the lounge...especially due to the fine treatment by Colette!

Not a major issue but the front lobby could stand more colorful or interesting decor...maybe some ferns, etc.

Very comfortable room and spotlessly clean-also extremely pleasant staff and good atmosphere. Good car parking.Restful and tasteful decor--Kerry wool blankets on beds etc.it felt like a smoothly run hotel

We liked the variety/choice of food at breakfast time. coffee was very good.

ANothing we disliked but we did mss a clock/radio in the room - fortunately we did not need an early call or set an alarm. The hotel should invest in a computer for guests to use if only to send emails for communication . Lots of hotels we have used have these facilities.

looks better on the outside than inside. Rooms are looking a bit tired & ours could have been cleaner. [especially mattress side which had large brown stain] Beds with duvets create a 'cleaner' impression than blankets [NB blanket was freshly laundered]
