Very friendly staff and big rooms with nice swimming pool on the roof.
The abscense of a bar in the hotel.
I liked the location of the hotel. Plus the staff were very friendly and accommodating.
The size of the room was not commendable. I did not select an option in the bonus question: Describe the property style as it did not meet any of the option provided. Sorry!! The massage rooms were not very pleasant or seemed safe for family, Maybe it is, but the looks did not provide the feeling.
Pleasant stay. Really enjoyed all the facilities. Highly recommend this place. Will be staying there again soon.
Great and felt very much secure and safe to stay in Travancore Court , as always ! Strongly recommend all .
The detailing like the bed and the silverware in the restaurant are lovely. The bathroom window glass was really cute. Staff was polite and had better English than expected. Every female staff member was working very hard and with a smile. The AC worked reasonably well. The breakfast was diverse and well stocked.
The toilet did not flush, it appeared to be off the chain. We called shortly after entering the room and requested someone to come and deal with the issue, but no one ever came. This meant we had a hassle every time we used the bathroom. Additionally, the toilet ran loudly and continuously all night and was audible at all times. The hose for the toilet wash also leaked continuously and apparently has been for a number of weeks as there was thick orange mold collecting around the base of the toilet and the wall and floor remained wet from this at all times- which smells and looks bad- not to mention the health risk that clearly creates. There was no hot water in the shower at any time, checked several times at night and again in the morning- the options were cold and freezing only. It is impossible to wash shampoo out of your hair without warm water to fully dissolve it, which is particularly upsetting in a hotel that costs 60 USD per night- there should be hot water available at all times. The fabric on the chairs in the bedroom was stained in multiple places- unclear if that was from bodily fluids or spilled food- either way obviously needs cleaning! Further, we were not issued a room key, so we got locked out the room as ours was the bellhop keycard and we had to wait for someone to sort that out. The gym room needs to have humidity control and AC at all times- clearly it has become rusty from not being properly maintained- and that makes it difficult to breathe in there and stinky. Dinner order wasn't right- I ordered boneless cubed chicken in my dish and was instead given chopped chicken with bones- when you are spending 1800 rupees on dinner, the order should be followed carefully- another disappointment. No one helped with bringing the bags into the hotel.
