It was Quiet away from traffic
The room was overpriced it should have been a $45.00 room
Close to places to eat
The bed was very uncomfortable
the hotel does have a good location and the manager is very plesant.
The rooms are posted as non-smoking but reek of smoke and mildew. We ended up leaving an hour after arriving after finding a bed bug in the room.
It smelled, no hair dryer, no coffe in room. Paid way too much for what we got. Wouldn't recommend to anyone!! It was a dive.
The room smelled strongly of cigarette smoke, though it was supposed to be non-smoking. The shower didn't work at all, had to call the desk for someone who was then able to help.
Close to my meeting location and in expensive for the over night stay.
The heater was somewhat noisy.
It was a mile from the conference center.
The room and hot water were icy upon arrival. Appliances (and floors)had to be turned off for sleep. Peeling ceiling paint. Damaged sink and poorly repaired walls. The police arrested someone upstairs at 1:30am. Linens not fresh. A 3rd World rental.
The price and proximity to the La Crosse Center.
The heat wasn't on in my room when I got there. Turning it on required climbing on the dresser to get to the heat unit, which was fine for me but would be challenging for someone with mobility limitations. But the plumbing worked and the room was clean!
Hotel was very run down, smelled of mold when I entered room & prices were way too high for a place like this.
It was conveniently located. We checked in late and the staff was trying to contact us - that was appreciated that they did not give our room away.
The stained towels, the bed was too soft and it lived up to it's one star rating.
No hot water at bathroom sink.
