Set in Lachen just 150 metres from Lake Zurich’s Obersee, Hotel Bären offers rooms with free Wi-Fi and a fine restaurant. You can enjoy your meals out on the terrace and relax in the bar. The restaurant serves a wide variety of international and Swiss cuisine prepared with seasonal produce. A 4-course menu is available during the day while in the evening meals are served à la carte. All rooms at Bären Hotel have a small seating area and cable TV. Private bathrooms come with a bath or shower and free toiletries. The lake is an excellent place for swimming and walking. Boat trips around the lake and to Zurich can be organised at the marina, 150 metres away. Private garage parking is available on site. Lachen’s Train Station is 5 minutes away on foot. Zurich can be reached by car in 25 minutes via highway 3. The S2 train connects you to the airport.
