The Fort William Henry Hotel is situated right on the lake in Lake George, New York, offering breathtaking views and easy access to the water. This upscale historical hotel provides modern, elegant accommodations for guests in three distinct areas: the Grand Hotel, Premium East, and Standard West. All of the rooms include complimentary WiFi, which is also available in all areas of the hotel. The 18-acre estate spans the entire southern shore of Lake George, with views of the Adirondack Mountains from many areas on the property. Two bottles of water in the room but at a cost of five dollars, not exactly what I would consider hospitality. Pros (+) The staff was great. All really friendly and willing to help. The location was really close to downtown LG and the beach so don't need to drive much
Cons (-) The only issue we had was that the bathroom was pretty dirty. There was mold on the walls and in the bathtub. They need to do a better job cleaning up throughout the season.

Pros (+) He pool area is very beautiful
Cons (-) I felt mislead because once I checked in I realized my room was not in the main hotel, but a separate building that looks worse then a motel. The pool for some reason was freezing. I probably won't come back.
