Beautiful view of the tidal flats. Nice room. Awesome being on the island at night.
Hard to keep windows open on hot days from the noise from seagulls at night and early morning deliveries to businesses
The view was amazing, the room felt like a garret on top of the world, the staff was friendly and helpful, and the restaurant was an institution.
Solid place to stay at a reasonable price
Outstanding location. Room was clean, but very small. Bathroom was renovated recently and very good condition (huge relative to the room). Beds were comfortable.
Room was a little on the small side, but the location and price made up for the rest.
Warning! 136 Stairs to Our Room!
Had we know ahead of time that our very small room required us to climb 136 stairs (84 outside to get to the lobby area) with our luggage, we might've made reservations at one of the hotels at the base. Even carrying our small carry-on up and down was inconvenient and a waste of our time. Glad we asked about the price of breakfast that they tried to sell us a check in, 19.00 Euros Each! We ate elsewhere for 8.00 Euros each. Peeling paint and unfurnished second lobby where the rooms located.
No one in the lobby when we tried to check in had to come back. Didn't feel welcome at all, especially when we decided not to pre-pay breakfast and dinner. Outdated, worn out decor everywhere was disheartening considering the location and prices. Very small room with the same worn out carpeting and furnishings. Moderately clean. Location is a plus, however, the free shuttle busses run until 11:00 PM so we could have easily stayed just outside the area and rode back and forth.
Amazing location, large room and very clean.
Front desk staff was a bit standoffish and not particularly friendly.
Enjoyable hotel on the isle of Mont St. Michel
Room was clean, location was convenient, price was very competitive
We cannot check in on time!!!!! We wait more than 1 1/2 hrs in reception! because the room not prepare well!!
The views from our room were spectacular. Though they aren't fancy, the rooms are comfortable and have all of the amenities needed for a wonderful stay on Mont St. Michel. Breakfast, which is served at La Mere Poulard, was both extensive and delicious.
No elevator in the annex building.
Localization, as it is very close to the ocean.
Bad information about check-out time by staff, who said we should live 1 hour earlier than information by booking.com.
Location was excellent and the room where we stayed which was not part of the main hotel had a marvellous view of the bay and the Abbey. This part of the hotel was quiet and one which I would prefer.
The room needed a serious refurbishing to keep up with modern facilities and comfort (pillowcases were old and smelt, linens needed to be upgraded, etc). I also felt that the receptionist was tense and not too accomodating to its hotel clients.
Very good breakfast at "La Mere Poulard"
The room was very modest and small for the price paid
Being able to have dinner at the Mere Poulard
92 stone steps frfom the reception to the building with the bedrooms
Obviously the position, and the breathtaking sight. The room was very comfortable and perfectly clean.
It was incredible to stay in such an historic place. The views were inspiring from our room.
Greatest place of a 5 country tour. Staying inside the Castle was great. Lots of area to explore (especially at night). Easy to find and staff was very nice.
The location which is just situated centrally in the Mont itself. Very convenience.
The parking, there is no clear indication as in the parking for hotel guess, so we paid €4 for the parking and rather far a distance to walk into the hotel.
A stay at Les Terrasses Poulard places you in the heart of Le Mont-Saint-Michel, steps from Mont Saint Michel Abbey and Mont-Saint-Michel. Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby, a 24-hour front desk, and multilingual staff. Self parking (subject to charges) is available onsite.
