Pros:We were in town for a basketball tournament and this was the perfect location because we were close to all the venues. There are also many options for food close by.
Cons:Check in was a nightmare. The guy behind the counter said that the booking site was the problem. We had paid in full through the booking site but something about the booking site using their card to hold the room...? It took over an hour to get it taken care of and we had just driven 8 hours. We also had to ba some where and we really wanted to shower prior. Due to the delay, that didn’t happen. When we got back and finally got our keys, they didn’t work. The ice machine on our floor didn’t work and the laundry facility was down as well. In our bathroom, there were several hairs and the floor (although laminate, which was nice) needed to be swept. When we booked the room, it was for three people but there were only two body towels so we had to get more from the front desk. I should mention that the proximity from our room to the front desk is quite the trek. When they built this hotel, they really didn’t think about that at all. For breakfast, all the bananas were green.
Pros:The La Quinta in Lenexa, KS was one of the most pleasant stays I have ever had the pleasure of experiencing.
Cons:The toilet kept flushing until in the n]middle of the night I got up and fixed it. Should be entitled to a refund.
