Friendly staff. Good breakfast and suppled early on request.
Small rooms. I thought I booked en-suite, but we got a bathroom between 2 rooms. As we knew each other, this was ok.

Although the hotel itself was pretty old and tatty, the restaurant and food was excellent.
Right next to the railway station and level crossing, opposite two pubs and a social club, was unable to get to sleep until 4'o'clock in the morning due to all night revellers.

Good central location and good value when you just want somewhere to put your head down for the night whilst you visit relatives
The booking process was misleading as it takes your credit card details and you think the room is already paid for but it's only taken for reservation and you pay at the time of departure. It caused a bit of embarrassment in the morning as I was walking out just waving goodbye.
