Nice breakfast, Friendly staff and good location. Private parking.
Lots of minor faults. Shower very weak, lots of fittings in the room needed repair. TV was ancient with only two channels. The place needs a lot of money spent to get it in shape.

The bed was the most comfy I've ever slept in, even with the window open it was lovely and quiet and I had a wonderfully restful sleep. The breakfast was plentiful and well cooked and the two staff members were friendly so I would have no hesitation about using Southmead Guesthouse in future.
The room was a little basic and had a shared bathroom at the end of the landing but for £35 it really was good value. You can park at the front of the property but have to move your vehicle by 8am the next morning. There is sufficient parking at the rear of the property though so I wouldn't say that this is particularly a negative.
