Great service from the staff, good food, very pleasant rooms (we stayed in the cottage accommodation but the rooms we saw were excellent too), and lovely surroundings - the hotel accommodation is set in forested garden/greenery. Excellent A/C - very much appreciated in Lumbini in Aug where outside temperature was oven hot. The staff - esp Mr Sunip - were super helpful in helping plan visits to Lumbini and nearby sites
The coffee could have been better - but a minor gripe
However, upon arrival the welcome rendered made up for the journey from airport to the resort. The staffs were all excellent. Mr Sunil the Manager went the extra mile to ensure my entire stay totally comfortable and relaxing. As I am a vegetarian the Chef cooks the best vegetarian Thakali set I have ever tasted in all my visits to Nepal and his noodle soup was also very tasty. All food were freshly cook with organic vegetables grown in the resort. I would definite recommend this resort to all visiting Lumbini.
The resort is not the nearest to the Mayadevi temple and unfortunately this time the roads from Bhairawa to Lumbini were in bad condition and dusty. The summer heat at 38C makes the journey stressful. The room decor and amenities are rather basic.
Something close to nature, stayed for a night only
peaceful and green
