Facilities were comfortable and the room quite spacious. The location was very good. Suited my needs.
The breakfasts did not have enough selections.
This hotel suited our needs perfectly! Although older, it is well-maintained and very clean. We requested, and got, a very quiet room facing the inner courtyard. Staff were unfailingly friendly and helpful; breakfast was ample with a good selection. Short walk from the train station; close to bus stops to/from everywhere. The bathroom, though a bit on the small side, had everything we needed (including a nice big sink for washing our "dainties.") The only thing lacking was a kettle for in-room tea or coffee -- but we found out at check-out that although they are not routinely provided (due to incidents of misuse), they will provide them on request. Unless you like paying $$$$$ at hotels like the Four Seasons, you should find this place quite satisfactory.
Totally out of the property's control, of course, but the current streetcar line construction nearby meant we had to walk a bit further to the bus stop and do a bit of to-ing and fro-ing on the improvised pedestrian walkways. When the line is finished though, is will be a lovely place to walk.
We really liked our stay, even though some odds were against us. The front desk was super nice and helpful in accomodating us with a spot in the parking garage nearby (10 minute walk on foot). The room can be reached by elevator. They serve a nice breakfast and the lady taking care of refills was very kind and attentive. We really enjoyed our stay even though it was raining the entire time.
Reaching the hotel was quite adventurous given that the entire part from Kirchberg to Central Station is a construction site due to a new tram line they're establishing: Noise from the construction, daily changing routes, closed streets. There was some sort of event taking place close by which went until 3am in the morning and made it quite impossible to get a good nights sleep, but it wasn't the hotel's fault.
Rooms have a good size, they provide a fridge. The shower is hot. Breakfast was good and the staff really helpful. We had to do the check out during the night, the reception was already close, so we could just leave the key over the table. Really good location, near all the attractions, supermarket and bus stop.
A good central location. Staff were very accommodating and helpful with enquiries.
