Pros (+) The location was great - a short 15 minute walk to the art museums, or a 20 minute walk to the royal palace in the opposite direction. Close to multiple metro stations as well. Close to multiple plazas for restaurants, bars, and just the overall Madrid happy energy. The room was really spacious and well decorated, and also had a mini fridge. Cons (-) If people come in late it is very easy to hear hallway noise. Also, outside businesses seem to like to make noise at 730-800am on some days. It sounded like metal doors/objects being slammed. Otherwise, the other street noise like late night revellers at the bars downstairs weren’t audible.
