Balcony was great and allowed us to sunbathe between 4 and 7 pm each day. Only one floor had balconies though. Spa was great but expensive. Location was the best thing. We could walk to Plaza Major and other attractions and due to the ridiculous traffic problems in Madrid, we virtually walked to everything as it was faster.
Room size was small. The large balcony helped though. It was a bit loud with traffic noise in the late evening/night which kept my wife awake.
Good location in central Madrid, close to the Metro Underground. Breakfast was very good with a variety of food for all nationalities.
Washing and dry cleaning of clothes was expensive
Cracked bathtub, uncomfortable pillows. Asked for a diff room but was told it would be an extra charge
Amazing balcony, & views.
House keeping service. I had to call twice just to get a roll of toilet paper. The room was never cleaned during our 3 nights stay, & we were completely out of toilet paper, & trash cans were overflowing.
