Good location friendly staff
Slightly overpriced and in need of a refresh
room a good size breakfast tastey
Beautiful exterior, clean inside.
Dated and old decor. The first room I was given the thermostat on the radiator was broken, the heating was on full, it was like a sauna. I requested a new room, I was taken to the old part of the hotel, I entered the second room to be told this was the most haunted room in the hotel, that it had been featured on UK and US most haunted. I was not impressed, I was moved to a third room and had the same issue with the heating. I shortly left the hotel. Although I did not spend the night or get to have any breakfast (which I paid extra for) I was given no discount and was told: "sorry I only work here".
Room and bathroom were clean. Breakfast was cooked rather than the continental expected
The hotel was in need of a refurbishment, décor was 'tired' Double bed in our room was uncomfortable with signs of springs poking through the mattress
Onsite parking close to superstore
Booked for a meal Friday evening result disastarous. They had no stock of Guiness and two other ales on tap.Waited ages for our food when it finally arrived it was a joke.My wife and I ordered burgers as the meals we wanted to order was not available. An unhappy dining experience
