Charming and beautiful Riad located in the heart of Marrakech! From the warm welcome to the finest attention given by the team everything was done to make our journey as special and comfortable as possible. We can't thank enough Nicola, Lorenzo, Marina, Aisha, Abdellah as the whole team for their dedication and kindness. They all made our stay at Marrakech unforgettable. Even more in this weird period that is the Coronavirus pandemic.
Oustanding breakfast, the best we had during our stay in Morocco Absolutely beautiful rooms, mixing contemporary design with traditional Moroccan style and furniture Great service and very nice staff Good location, in a quiet and cute street
Perfect location, nearby The bahia palace and El Badi palace. Very helpfull staff.
Great location, friendly staff and relaxing roof terrace. Made sure I was back to watch the sunset every evening with a cold beer on the roof.
Rooms small and not well insulated. Could hear everything and often woke up in during the night. Could also benefit from a bigger wardrobe, we were there for 5 days and struggled to unpack.
Location was good, the riad was very clean and the staff was friendly. Breakfast the next morning was delicious and fast. Bonus was the hair dryer in the room, which most hotels in Morocco don't have. Bed was comfy and the shower was hot. The rooftop terrace was lovely as well.
I didn't like the fact that there was no way to open the front door. A member of the staff had to open it so it always felt like my comings and goings were not private. The noise from other rooms and the kitchen at night was very loud, which made sleeping difficult. Finally, the thing that most put me off staying here again was the price they charged for a car to the train station. They charged me around $22 CAD. I had stayed at a train station area hotel and used a transfer from that hotel to get to MonRiad and it was 50 dirham. So, MonRiad charged me almost three times that to get to the train station (not even the airport). I guess it's my fault for not checking the price the day before when I asked for a transfer but if they had told me the price I never would have agreed to it. The day before the man who I checked in with told me $50 dirham to the city centre would be the most I should pay so I wasn't expecting them to then charge me triple that price.
A stay at MonRiad places you in the heart of Marrakech, within a 10-minute walk of Jemaa el-Fnaa and High Atlas. Featured amenities include a business center, dry cleaning/laundry services, and a 24-hour front desk. A roundtrip airport shuttle is provided for a surcharge (available 24 hours).
