I guess that the location is a bit dudgy
The staff are friendly
everything is great about the riad....the family is really nice and helpful as everyone has mentioned.
the location was fine, but not great.. you are in the Medina, but it is the Sale medina, not the rabat medina...that is across the river.... you can take a ferry or a Grand Taxi.
This is an authentic Riad, approx 900 years old (built in 1100’s), but obviously updated at different stages. Jean-Jacques was so helpful helping to book a day trip to Essaouira and then a guide/driver to take us on a 3 day trip to Fes, via Dades, Todra And Merzouga. It was brilliant!!! We loved our guide - so thank you Jean-Jacques for recommending the company and in particular our guide, Muhammad!!
We booked a third night, but due to being nearly fully booked we moved to a cheaper room. This room was disappointing compared to the original room, which was a bit of a shame as we really loved the Riad overall.
The owner and the staff were really super friendly and helpful, the riad is very enjoyable, clean, quite, peaceful, with a nice terrasse. I definitely enjoyed my stay.
From the beginning till the end everything was great - starting from picking us at airport with sign in hands to taking back to airport. In the room there was cellphone which you can use for calling to owner and staff and use free internet - that was very useful for us. Fresh Moroccan breakfast with very tasty coffee. Abdel is very nice and kind person, thanks him for taking care for us!
