Extremely well situated, qquiet and clean street in the medina. Very nice rooms, lovely terrace. Merwan and Gaethane are the nicest and most knowledgeable hosts one can wish for. Definitely take them up on the offer to arrange for a taxi from the airport to their place (or you'll never find it first time - after you get Merwan's map you'll do fine) and try their dinners. Among the best food we had in Moroco during our stay. At the end of our roadtrip vacation we came back for 2 more nights ;-)
nothing really anoying, just no good wifi coverage in the rooms.

We had a wonderful experience and flavour of Marrakesh at this beautiful Riad close to all main attractions and a lovely retreat away from the noise to relax. The food was great and the cooks made exquisite food which we miss! The hosts were lovely people who took time out to chat with us and they would have breakfast with the guests too. Merwan, the host, even offered to have mint tea made for us, which was unexpected but a nice gesture, which we took him up on! He and his wife were warm and very flexible with our unpredictable meal times and plans!
There is a cat which took some getting used to for us but on the whole we warmed up to the cat zelda and Marrakesh is full of cats!

My wife and I stayed for four nights at the Riad Dar Nouba in the first week of October. This riad is genuinely an oasis of calm combining traditional architecture and modern comfort just a short walk from the centre of Marrakech. The resident owners were attentive, knowledgeable, multi-lingual and discrete. All that they had promised in their web pages and more was realised. For example, the taxi pick up from the airport worked like clock work and the maps the owners provided helped us initially navigate our way round the fascinating lanes of the souk. We opted to 'eat in' in several evenings enjoying the fresh produce purchased earlier in the day. If you want to get away from the blandness of chain hotels, this is a great choice.
