The hotel is located in an excellent location in the Laureles, close to the metro and easily accessible to all the things to experience in Medellin. However, depending on the room you receive you will hear the metro and if you're a light sleeper this could keep you up. It's also close to excellent local-restaurants but with this also bars/clubs that are quite loud on the weekends. Great to be close to the party, but also not so great to bring it back to your room if you want to rest.

Breakfast was not included in my rate so I chose to eat elsewhere. Lots of budget options nearby with great food.

I thoroughly enjoyed the Egina Hotel The Staff was always helpful and hospitable. The food was excellent. European. No wine. The decor was beautiful. The room was large, good view, and very clean. Will definitely return to my friends at "The Egina".
The Fiesta every night on CR Setenta is only for the young. Remember to bring ear plugs. With them, you will sleep & the many wonderful Egina Hotel experiences can begin.
