At the price point this is a fine hotel, not amazing and not bad. Exactly as expected.
The location was fantastic
Pros: - Location is great, near Aristides Villanueva that’s an Avenue with lots of bars and restaurants - Room space, good living room and bedroom distribution - Breakfast on the room saves you time - It’s a good value for the money due to the location, but only if you’re looking for a hotel just to sleep
Cons: - For you to have the 21% IVA discount as a foreigner, you need to take care of having a photocopy of your passport and credit card. They don’t have a photocopy machine, so you need to provide it to them, but they don’t tell this to you beforehand and it can’t be just a digital file, must be on paper. I had to find downtown a place to get a photocopy and one I was back with the paper, they’ve told me the needed as well a copy of the page where I’ve got the immigration stamp. So, I’ve had to go downtown again just to photocopy one page, which is a 20 minute walk from the hotel. Have lost a lot of time to do that while they could’ve managed to have a simple multifunctional printer to get this sorted for the guests, plus it was siesta time and several places were closed. The problem was not just this bureaucracy, but also that they haven’t explained correctly on the first time and weren’t bothered at all to give this work for the guests. I’ve stayed on several other hotels in other countries where those info would be photocopied, but the hotel has ALWAYS managed to sort that out, even the simpler ones. - Facilities needs refurbishment, they’re not in a good condition. There was one chair on the living room that had the stew ripped. Walls needs painting, and the linens were of bad quality - Toilet needs to be cleaner, specially the sink and the shower - Bathroom towels were grey, there was one that was patched. This is unacceptable for a hotel, even if it’s simple - Toilet paper was only single sided, and weren’t much white - The heat for the shower works with gas. Even putting it on maximum, the water wasn’t hot. Glad it was summer and more than 30 degrees Celsius outside, but Mendoza gets below zero on the winter - Room keys are really a key and you need to leave there on the lobby every time you leave the hotel
Great location, good rooms (clean, comfortable beds). Francisco y Mrs Adriana were really helpful, like grandparents.
Bathroom a little tight
Super accommodating staff - helped schedule an airport transfer a period that was nearly impossible to find any transport. Pool is a nice place to escape the city and relax.
Breakfast was a few rolls and coffee, but the coffee was good and it was great to have it all dropped off to the room.
