10.0 Excellent
Pros: Delicious food served at the restaurant. The friendliest and most helpful staff - especially the waitresses. Beautiful beach in front of the hotel. Upgrade free of charge to a beach view villa due to a malfunctioning pump in the garden villa pool.
7.1 Good
Pros: Nice hotel in the middle of nowhere, perfect getaway from the city hustles. Good breakfast and they have themed dinner nights each day. Check in was very quick and pleasant, thanks to Bonnie, our masai friend who also gave us abit of the hotel tour upon arrival.
Cons: Housekeeping needs alot of improvements, cleanness wasn’t up to standard, other than making the bed, they did not do a good job at all. No change of soaps, towels were worn out and discoloured to off white, not a good texture. The hand towels in our bathroom were folded nicely but they were dirty on the inside. The hotel needs to include necessities like small toothpaste in the bathroom kit- when we requested for one, we were charged for it. Rates for food and drinks should be both USD and TZS to give guests choice.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We had the most beautiful stay at Kono Kono. The staff were so friendly and they'd arranged a complimentary bottle of fizz to celebrate our honeymoon. The food was amazing, very varied and the infinity pool and beach were incredible. Seeing the monkeys was amazing and we loved all the other wildlife there. We would love to go back!
Cons: Loved all of it!

Good accommodation and ocean views, was very hot at nights and was given extra fans when requested which was brilliant, clean white sand private beach and aqua seas. Quiet relaxing time. The famous Rock Restaurant was only a 15 minute stroll along the beach and being owned by Kichanga Lodge Resort we was able to have the excellent seafood meal Bill put onto our room as we came out with out any money as we was only intending to go for a walk, which was very helpful.Thought the beach cocktails where a good price of only $7 dollars when taking into account how many different shots of alcohol ( Patrick makes a mean Pinocalada ) All staff friendly and helpful.
6.0 Good
Pros: The staff were fabulous
Cons: The food was a bit same, same.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We had a bungalow with Ocean view: fantastic. The room is simple, traditional lodge style, and offers all comfort. The restaurant offers excellent breakfast, lunch and dinner. We also liked the afternoon tea / coffee at the beach bar. Staff is very friendly and helpful: they have an eye and feeling for every detail. The private beach is very quiet, as it is secluded at high tide: only hotel guests at the beach. At low tide you can walk to other beaches.
Cons: There is nothing that we didn't like; we had a fantastic stay at Kichanga Lodge. We stayed only 4 nights; should have stayed some more ...
8.0 Excellent
Pros: I went to Kachinga for solitude and some 'me' time. I got exactly what I was looking for. The hospitality was wonderful. The location was wonderful and my cottage was very comfortable. I particularly loved the hanging daybed on the cottage deck and spent a lot of time there reading. The communal areas were also very lovely and it was a pleasant spot to lolligag over a coffee after breakfast in the mornings. Management and all the staff were attentive and welcoming. I would go back again.
Cons: As a solo traveller, I have this thing about being able to choose where I sit in a restaurant. @ breakfast & dinner, tables were pre-decided for you. MIne had this out of the way, back of the bus feel about it. When I would request to sit somewhere else, the lovely wait staff would try to accommodate me but were often a bit taken aback or confused by my request. It's a personal thing and a small thing, but it did make me feel uncomfortable at meal times.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful location and fantastic staff.
Cons: Desperately needs air conditioning in the rooms or much stronger fans.

Pros: The breakfast was great...a good spread daily and catered for ALL denominations. The common area was very chilled and quite nice to mingle with other nationalities. We were Wowed with the ocean in the backdrop as it gave us the opportunity to swim both in the pool and ocean. The staff is extremely friendly (Jumbo)....Hakuna Matata
Cons: We didn't like the idea of being shoved into the same corner each night at dinner. When we asked the staff they couldn't answer appropriately.
5.4 Okay
Pros: Low Price , entertainment, near beach
Cons: Not clean, washroom smells,ac not cooling , baby bed was full of dirt so we retained, insects too many

Cons: Al Carte and buffet breakfast options were limited. It was almost the same everyday
6.0 Good
Pros: The facilities there are great
Cons: My room wasnt properly cleaned daily, they would just make my bed and mop the floor. The waiters have a terrible attitude especially towards black people I constantly had to run after them for service. Receptionist called me at 8am to ask what time I'm checking out. I was only meant to check out at 10am. So I definitely won't be going back to Uroa

9.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful location. Very clean. Staff very friendly
Cons: 50 us dollars to get visa at airport,of which I was not aware off .The sea was full of weed so very difficult to swim in. Had to pay 5.00 us dollars non returnable (everything charged in dollars) extra for poolside towels and 1.00 dollar to get a clean one . All inclusive bar closed at 11.00pm then you had to pay for any further drinks. So beware you will need extra money!!!
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was delicious! It was awesome being able to interact with the Massai warriors and the staff was so fun! Ali taught me how to play this double mancala game and I WON!! The staff was so nice and happy. It seemed genuine. My room was spacious and clean. There was a crack between the bottom of my door and the floor but not one bug came in. Actually I don't remember seeing any bugs.. If you take a walk down the beach you walk into the village and there are children playing and.. it was a great spot! Also the excursions!! WOW!!
Cons: I tried calling many times to schedule a shuttle. I could never get a response and took a taxi from the airport and paid double.
7.9 Good
Pros: Restaurant service very good
Cons: All was good but there lacks shops or supermarket nearby
6.3 Good
Cons: Frequent shortages in electricity. And the generators don't run the AC. Quality of food not very good, and lack of choice. You cannot swim in the ocean because of the tide. The beverages and snacks are very poor, paying all inclusive is a waste of money. They provide transportation to another beach, which is similar to the one where the hotel is located, but they use a truck for that! The internet WiFi signal is very bad and poor.
2.5 Mediocre
Pros: The Masai dancing was interesting
Cons: almost everything is terrible.... poorly furnished and basic rooms … they are still building the hotel... very unclean breakfast area and even worse choice of breakfast if you can get through the queues .. staff going through the motions and not really very interested. Beach very poor and huge amount of seaweed. Mostly geared up for full board tours it seems .. stayed two nights and I really pity the people who have to stay longer
5.4 Okay
Pros: The food at the a la carte restaurant was great until the last night when the chef made some horrible chicken and called it chicken curry. I know for sure it was not the same chef because what he made was a joke. I was so angry and then the guy who was the manager tells me that chefs are different! And made me feel I was crazy
Cons: The a la carte mananger on the third night, his name is Dickson. Please learn better ways to resolve issues. Please stop charging customers for towels, that is unreasonable. It is a beach resort so people will definitely use towels. The 5% surcharge on use of credit cards, my dears thst is just too much. Find a way to include it in your rate
